Subject : Apps won’t load, but browser works fine (Netcast).
■ TV is connected to the internet but app won’t load
■ TV browser is working but Premium app won’t load
■ Network is disconnected when accessing app but TV is connected to the network
■ A DNS server converts the web adress name (www.google.com), into a web address ip (188.8.131.52). Like any other server, sometimes DNS servers go down, and devices get confused.
How to fix
■ Your best bet to resolve this issue is to set your DNS locations manually. Luckily, Google hosts public DNS servers for anyone to use.
Google's public DNS servers are 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11.
How to set your DNS manually
Press the Home/Smart button on your remote to bring up Home Screen
Click settings on the bottom part of the screen
Choose the Network menu from the left then choose Network Connection.
Select ‘Start Connection’
Select ‘Other Network List’
Select ‘Manual Setup’
Select ‘AP List’
Select the wireless network which you used.
Input the password of the wireless network the select OK
Select Manual input and enter 18.104.22.168 then hit OK
Press the Home/Smart button on your remote and launch the app.
