There is a rubber seal (gasket) in side the door of the dryer that ensure tight closing of the door. Bits of fluff or lint may be left hung on the gasket that were not discharged to the filter while drying.
Causes and Symptoms
- Bits of lint are stuck to the door gasket.
Try this
If any fluff is left on the gasket after drying, do not remove the gasket but gently wipe off the dust using a wet tissue or towel.
The door gasket is designed to be hardly removed unless it is pulled by force.
Never remove the door gasket under any circumstances.
If the gasket is pulled out, you are recommended to call the service technician for inspection.
