[LG Cord Zero R5] Cannot turn on the power/cannot charge it

Causes and Symptoms

  • I can't turn on the power. / The battery won't charge.
  • It won't turn on because the battery is discharged.

Try this

1Check if the charging station is plugged in and the main power switch is turned on.

➔ If the main power switch is turned off, the battery can be charged, but the battery status won’t change in the app. And it won't display if the battery is fully charged, so the LED indicator on the robot vacuum cleaner keeps blinking pink.

2How to turn on the power to charge the charging station manually

  • Check if the charging station is powered on.
  • Turn on the main power switch on the main body.
  • Charge it by correctly connecting the charger port of the main body to the port of the charging station.
  • When charging the main body, see if the top button blinks.
    (Check if there is a foreign object stuck between the main body and the charging station.)
  • It takes 17 seconds for the power to be completely turned off.

3How to turn on the power outside the charging station

  • Turn on the main power switch on the main body.
  • Long press the power button on the top of main body for more than 3 seconds.
  • As the button on the top of main body blinks, the power will be completely turned off after 17 seconds.`
