I wouldnt recommend this product
freezer door weak magnet
i have been using for almost a year. top freezer door opens when you close the bottom refrigerator door. 9 times out of 10 it will open, poor design. the small door also takes conscious effort to open and close, it is not as smooth to operate as expected.

Defective After 5 years
Bought this 5 years ago and now the front touch display control panel has no LED light display.

Also freezer is NOT COOLING sufficiently . Cannot make ice cubes..

Worth the money!
I bought mine on 9/27/2020 and I am extremely satisfied with it until now. The freezer and refrigerator space are huge. The doors close properly too. The sales rep advised upon purchase how to properly open and close the doors (especially the door-in-door) that's why I don't have any issues with it either. Magnets are working fine, user just have to follow instructions. One more thing that I like about this ref is that if you kept or left the door open for a minute, you will hear a soft alarm. Fruits and veggies also last longer. It smells good too because of the hygiene fresh functionality. I love the app, I can adjust the ref setting even if I'm away from home. 11/10 rating for this ref. I plan to buy another one as a gift for my parents.

Very poor freezer door magnet
Freezer door keeps on opening after closing the big ref door. Weak magnet in the freezer door.

Small door very hard to close. Very troublesome to use.

Problems
Had to fit a handle on the small door so it would close properly..and easy to open..cut the freezer handle about 4 inches from the bottom so you don't hit your head..took out the small draw in the door in door compartment cut it in half and mounted it on the far right side so I could get things in and out..other than that I have lost my warranty ever though I improved it and great fridce..

Mine is working perfectly fine. Almost 2-year old LG ref of the same model and it's still in pristine condition.
