Do's and Don'ts for CTV


  • Do not use multi plug socket to connect the CTV. CTV should have separate power socket and switch. There should be proper earthing.
  • Unplug this apparatus during lighting storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  • Always switch off the CTV by main switch when CTV is no longer in use.
  • Check regularly the battery used in remote control. Replace all battery at a time if remote is not working from distance.
  • Remove the battery while going for vacation for long time.
  • Clean only with dry and lint free cloth.
  • Do not clean CTV screen while set is in running condition.
  • Do not use any detergent, alcohol, or any other liquid acidic in nature.
  • If dust stick with screen, use recommended liquid only. Do not apply liquid directly to screen. Apply the liquid to cloth only.
  • Keep CTV covered while CTV is not in use to avoid dust accumulation.
  • Remove the cover while watching the TV.
  • Only use standard attachments/accessories, Like DVD Player, Home Theatre System.
  • Non standard attachments/accessories may degrade the picture/ sound quality.
  • While connecting or disconnecting with other devices, first switch off the CTV by main switch. Otherwise it may damage the CTV.
  • Please do not turn off the TV or unplug the USB device when the connected USB storage device is working.
  • When such device is suddenly separated or unplugged, the stored files or the USB storage device may be damaged.
  • Mass storage devices should be in proper formats (FAT16/FAT32/NTFS)
