Extremely Low LID Cells

The boron (B) and oxygen (O) pairs within most p-type cells eliminate electrons that were created to generate energy. But inside the LG NeON® 2, there are almost no B-O pairs. This is why LG NeON® 2 has almost no LID*.

Double-sided Cell Structure

LG NeON® 2 cells produce energy from both the front and back. By absorbing light from even the backside, the cells increase efficiency. This makes LG NeON® 2 cells more efficient than conventional cells in the mornings and evenings, when the angle of light is lower.

Higher Efficiency Installation Savings

Compared to a conventional multi module with 72 cells, LG NeON® 2 achieves higher power output with 60 cells, making it easy to manage space when installing large-scale systems. Also, with lower Voc than a 72-cell module, LG NeON® 2 requires fewer strings, leading to lower costs.

Enhanced Physical Durability

With its newly reinforced frame design, LG NeON® 2 modules are designed to endure a front load up to 6000 Pa, and a rear load up to 5400 Pa. Each module can handle a full ton of snow-load or withstand 208-mile-per-hour winds. In comparison, Hurricane Katrina (2005. Aug) produced a maximum wind speed of 175 mph.
