What People Are Saying

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expensive for very limited features, poor support. Overall, the TV is a good one. However, after buying it, I realized how limited it is. For examples, it only has two HDMI ports, of which only one is ARC. This severely limits how you can configure your home entertainment system. The picture quality is good, but this television does not support HDR (High Dynamic Range) color and was technologically obsolete months after I bought it. Not only that, but I have to use my amplifier as a switch because of the lack of HDMI ports with which to connect Apple TV, my Blu-Ray Player, my amplifier etc. I will never buy another smart TV with less than four ports, of which all should be HDR and ARC capable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ALL HDMI PORTS BROKE WITHIN 2 YEARS I bought this a couple years ago , hardley ever use it and all the hdmi ports just broke today. Nothing but static when the tv turns owned, always took good care of it. Did google searches and this is a very widespread problem apparently...won't be buying an LG tv again unless they see this and decide to make things right, which i'm not counting on...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Loss of Internet While the picture is fine and the price was good, the tv itself has lost the ability to connect to the Internet. All my other devices to include another smart tv (not an LG) connect and stay connected with no problem. We've trued numerous times and yes, i am inputting in the password correctly. Really not good. I've read that this is a problem with LGs. Terible.

Asked by: Hayden55
Hello, to reset the password/pin, try "0000" then "1111" then "2222" and finally "3333" Only continue on until it unlocks it and then that will be the code. ^AC

Is this compatible with channel plus?

Asked by: Spunishquac
Regrettably, we do not have access to documentation that lists all of the pre-loaded apps on the Model 43UF6400, but most of the more popular apps like Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play Movies, and VUDU can be found on the TV. Compatible apps can be downloaded from the LG Content Store (App Store). ^CP

How to hook up DVD player model # DP132. hook it up according to the instructions provided, played in black and white.

Asked by: Dave1162
If the unit is playing in black and white, it would mean it is connected incorrectly. Please be sure you are connecting the unit from composite (white, red and yellow) to composite and not composite to component (red, blue, and green). ^AC

I have an amp with hdmi pass through, does this tv (49uf6400) support it? Also, is the arc input a 4k input also? Or is the arc input only 1080?

Asked by: loganmay9
HDMI Pass-Through is not a feature that you find on TVs. It is a feature that passes video and audio signals from a High Definition (HD) source such as a Blu-ray player or a HD Set Top Box to a Home Theatre System (HTS) via a HDMI cable. The Home Theatre System plays the audio from the HD source through its own speakers and sends the unaltered video signal to a TV via a second HDMI cable. A Home Theater System that supports HDMI pass-through will have one HDMI OUT port to send the HDMI signal to a TV, and at least one HDMI IN port to receive a HDMI signal from the connected external device. If your TV does not have HDMI Out, pass through can still be configured by using HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port or an Optical Cable connected to the TV's Digital Audio Out port going to your HTS Digital Audio In port. ^AC
