Symptom

Subtitles are cropped if aspect ratio is set to “zoom” or “cinema zoom”.

How to fix

[Menu] → [Picture] → [Aspect ratio] → [16:9]

[Smart] → [Setting] → [Picture] → [Aspect ratio] → [16:9]

[Home] → [Setting] → [Advanced setting] → [Picture] → [Aspect ratio]→ [16:9]
