Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect The sound quality and frequency response is more than I expected. I have used other earbuds with both passive and active sound canceling and these are the best yet. It is also very easy to active the audio pass-through if you do need to be able to hear and be aware of sound around you. The Bluetooth connection range is excellent and I can walk to almost any room on the main level of the house and still keep a connection. This is particularly impressive since this is a 2500 sq ft house with plaster over the old wire mesh construction. The earbud audio and microphone quality are both outstanding when making phone calls. Battery life is excellent. I use the buds each night for a solid 4-5 hours with plenty of charge left. On very rare occasions I have experienced less than 1 second drops in the audio on my laptop while sitting with it in my lap. This is the second pair of these buds I have had in the past year and they were just replaced under warranty. LG was wonderful and extremely fast to resolve the issue. The first pair continued to work well, however, the storage case was not indicating that it was properly charging (i.e. the indicator lights on the case was no showing the proper indications) and I started experiencing some problems with pairing which was related to the charging/storage case. I contacted LG, explained the problem, and they were immediately replaced. Customer service is the best.

can other people hear the tv when I use the earbuds

That depends on what the functions on the TV allow. Some TVs deactivate their built-in speakers when streaming audio to Bluetooth devices like the LG TONE Free FP9W (White) - Plug & Wireless UVnano True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds. That is a function of the TV and not the earbuds. Which TV are you inquiring about?...^Ivan
