The amount of detergent and rinse aid added to your wash cycles can affect how well your dishes are cleaned and dried. Here are some tips on how to fill and adjust each dispenser.

Adding detergent

Follow these simple guidelines on how to fill your detergent dispenser. Note that if you wish to do a pre-wash, the recess on top of the dispenser lid should also be filled with detergent.

Note: Be sure to only use detergent intended for automatic dishwashers. Incorrect detergent may cause the dishwasher to fill with suds during operation. DO NOT use hand dishwashing detergent in your dishwasher.

Note: The rinse aid indicator light will automatically turn on if the dishwasher is low on rinse aid. You may need to adjust the amount of rinse aid your dishwasher uses if you find your glassware has spotting or streaks. You can adjust this level using the rinse aid dosage dial.
