  • Installation

When choosing the location for the window air conditioner, there should be at least 20” of open, unobstructed space behind the back of the air conditioner. This ensures that the heat is able to discharge properly for maximum cooling efficiency.

air condition blowing

The front of the air conditioner should be clear of curtains, plants, and furniture to ensure that the air coming out of the air conditioner circulates properly.

Install the unit where the sunlight does not shine directly on the unit.

Do not expose occupants, pets, or plants to direct airflow for extended periods of time as the filter in the unit will not filter the air completely.

Portable Air Conditioner

When choosing the location for the portable air conditioner, there should be at least 20” of open, unobstructed space around the unit. This ensures that the air is able to circulate properly around the unit for maximum efficiency. The vent duct should be able to easily reach the window, without requiring any type of extension. The fan is designed to vent within the length of the supplied exhaust duct (5 feet when fully extended).

Do not expose occupants, pets, or plants to direct airflow for extended periods of time as the filter in the unit will not filter the air completely.
