LG Washer & Dryer - NFC Tag On Diagnosis[Narrator]
LG’s Tag On diagnosis uses NFC to communicate diagnostic information to the smartphone.
The diagnostic results will assist in troubleshooting issues on your appliance.
Note: Make sure that NFC is enabled on your smartphone.
NFC is available on most of the newer Android smartphones.
Open the LG laundry smartphone app and select Tag On, and then Tag On Diagnosis.
After closing the pop-up screen, the smartphone app will help you guide your phone for a successful Tag On.
The pulsing white circle is the approximate location of the NFC antenna on your phone.
Align that to the Tag On logo on your appliance.
The NFC antenna is located in the back of your phone.
So it is important to have your phone as close to the Tag On logo as possible.
It is acceptable to touch the back of the phone to the Tag On logo.
If the Tag On is successful, the appliances diagnostic results will appear for the cycles recently used.
If there is an issue with the appliance, read through the on-screen instructions to see if there are possible steps that you can take to remedy the issue.
If there is an issue with the appliance and you need to call for service, press the call LG service button.
Enter your phone number at the bottom of the screen.
LG customer service specialist will be able to look up your information based on the phone number you provide.
Press the call button and your phone should call the LG customer service number.
