LG Washer & Dryer - NFC Tag On Diagnosis

  • LG’s Tag On diagnosis uses NFC to communicate diagnostic information to the smartphone.

  • The diagnostic results will assist in troubleshooting issues on your appliance.

  • Note: Make sure that NFC is enabled on your smartphone.

  • NFC is available on most of the newer Android smartphones.

  • Open the LG laundry smartphone app and select Tag On, and then Tag On Diagnosis.

  • After closing the pop-up screen, the smartphone app will help you guide your phone for a successful Tag On.

  • The pulsing white circle is the approximate location of the NFC antenna on your phone.

  • Align that to the Tag On logo on your appliance.

  • The NFC antenna is located in the back of your phone.

  • So it is important to have your phone as close to the Tag On logo as possible.

  • It is acceptable to touch the back of the phone to the Tag On logo.

  • If the Tag On is successful, the appliances diagnostic results will appear for the cycles recently used.

  • If there is an issue with the appliance, read through the on-screen instructions to see if there are possible steps that you can take to remedy the issue.

  • If there is an issue with the appliance and you need to call for service, press the call LG service button.

  • Ebrnter your country and agree to the privacy policy.

  • Enter your phone number at the bottom of the screen.

  • LG customer service specialist will be able to look up your information based on the phone number you provide.

  • Press the call button and your phone should call the LG customer service number.
