    Nice featured phone
Considered Samsung S10 but after a lot of reviewing, decided on the G8. I prefer its feature set over Samsung. Several understated, useful features without all of the unnecessary eye candy. Only had the phone for a couple of days but so far, I'm glad I went with the G8. My wife and son went with Samsung. I believe I got the better phone. I do wish they kept the power button on back like the V30 but I'm getting used to it on the side.

    Excellent phone, full stop.
I had the LG G6 before the LG G8. I didn't want to spend a lot of money a phone, but I was sure that I wanted a LG phone. I paid more than I budgeted, but it's worth the sacrifice. I watched several reviews about the LG G8 and few were average or negative. I can honestly say that this is the best smartphone experience that I have had. My friend has the latest Samsung and everyday he begs me to trade, the other with the latest iPhone has to admit that the features on the LG G8 are ... read more practical. I would not trade my LG for any other brand.

    Love this phone
I have had LG phones since the LG G2. Before that I had A couple Galaxy S series phones, and I have to say, there is NO comparison. The other brand was riddled with flaws while I have rarely had an issue with any of my LG phones. I wish that LG was more in the forefront of mobile technology than Apple or Samsung.

    Best phone so far.
I have had LG Phones for many years now and this is the best one so far my last one was the LG V10 and I thought it was the best but this one is even better I just love the phone and all of its features especially the camera it takes crystal clear pictures and it is so easy to use. This phone is in my opinion is where the term smart phone should have started. LG makes the best phones and I will always stay with LG phones as they say why fix something if it is not broken. LG stands for Life is ... read more Good and that is the way it should be. I would and have recommended this phone to friends and family.

    Simply a magnificent phone!
I bought this phone a week ago after a week of painstaking online research. Boy, am I ever glad I did! This is the most complete & perfect (and gorgeous) next-gen phone that is actually affordable. It has the best audio, video, screen, and camera quality & specs of any phone out there, at a fraction of the competition's price! I keep discovering new features every day - it's the phone that keeps on giving!

    Sleek and stylish
The phone was simple and easy to adapt to. With my other phone is took me a couple of weeks to become comfortable with the new features. This phone was so easy, much like my old phone only quicker. The picture quality is amazing. I would highly recommend this phone for price and style.

    Great, All Around Phone!
This phone is great! It's definitely an upgrade from the LG X Charge I used to have. I love the fingerprint aspect, I can even use the fingerprint for signing on to my bank app which is really cool. I also love the camera because it allows you to take a bigger picture (great for group photos!). The only downside is the battery. I don't heavily use media like music, videos, etc and the battery is completely wiped out every day. I will say, however, even at 15% battery, I swear it still has 2 ... read more hours left, which is a lot considering my old phone would die randomly (within 5 seconds, 30 minutes...) once the 15% mark was reached.

at first i loved this phone, after using it for half a year i still think its a nice phone but it does have flaws. GPS stopped working, the wide angle mode camera works, the regular mode is blurry. The phone body developed some cracks. I am writing this review so LG knows the flaws and works on them. I just bought an LG G6, i hope it does not develop the same issues.

To anyone thinking about getting the G5 do it you will not be disappointed I promise that ! simply a MUST HAVE FOR THE FAMILY !!!!

Love my G5 up until Android 8 update.
My phone is the 2nd one after the first refused to fully activate. This one runs circles around my old g3. I was excited when they released android 7 on it and never expected an android 8 release, but it arrived a few weeks ago. I love how it works, but noticed my battery life went from average, to losing a percentage every 30 minutes while plugged in to original LG cord. I turned off location, wifi and tethered it via usb thinking that would work on my thunderbolt ports. Same issue. Rebooting ... read more fixes it temporarily. Even when battery saver is on, it happens. clearing cache does no good.

    Look out Samsung and Apple!
I've had a Samsung for over 6 years and I was way overdue for an upgrade. My previous phone, a note 4, was on its last leg. I looked and I researched 8 different phones. I keep going back to the Lg G7 thin Q. The features, look, battery life and the LG second year warranty had me sold. When I received the phone I immediately began to play with the features. I was so pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to work this phone. After a month, I'm still learning new things and features on the phone. ... read more Trust me, you can't go wrong with this phone. I'm so happy and I can't say enough good things about this phone. If you're thinking about getting the LG G7 or the LG G8, stop thinking about it and go get it.

    Bodacious phone!
I've always been an LG fan. No other phones for me. The Stylos have been a personal favorite of mines for quite some time. The Stylo 4 though I would say is a stable for LG's affordable phones. My little cousin swears by hers and thinks the Stylo 4 is better then the LG V40 even! I expected excellent features on it to be on the LG G7 THINQ but was disappointed that it didn't have the double tap on fingerprint sensor screenshot shortcut, doesn't have the notification bar slide down with ... read more fingerprint sensor shortcut or the search by pulling down on home screen shortcut. Nevertheless that isn't a shortcoming of this phone it still stomps the Stylo 4 and all other phones in the market for that matter. I freaking love this phone and it's features the camera take jaw dropping photos allowing full control for picture perfect photos. The processor is super fast no lagging the RAM allows for multi tasking it's just an all around great phone

Quite an improvement on the L5
Having loved my LG G5 for close to a couple of years I decided to upgrade to an G7. It's considerably faster, bigger screen, holds it's charge all day long with plenty to spare, the camera takes better pictures and has features such as Google Lens, portrait mode (allowing background to be blurred out after the picture is taken), an AI mode for guessing the type of photo being taken and adjusting the settings accordingly. I was even surprised that when I took a selfie it reversed the picture ... read more automatically, so that the writing on my t-shirt came out correctly - nice touch! The only negative for me was that one of the reasons I bought it was for iQ wireless charging, but I found that because I have a very slim metal plate on the back (for attaching to my magnetic mounts on the car and at home) the charging doesn't work through it. I don't think this has anything to do with this particular phone though.

Screen size, clarity along with Ease of Use Great!
I did lengthy review of newer phones to match the needs of my job and personal use. LG has always been a great brand for me. Purchased other brands with horrible stories to tell. My last LG lasted me 3 1\2 years and is still going strong, I will keep for my emergency phone. Only reason for this purchase was needing larger screen for work use of entering reports, and using it as a body cam for my job. This phone has been excelling at all the purposes for which I bought it. The screen is very easy ... read more to see and use in all lighting even outside in Tucson Sun. The camera if super for taking photos which in my security profession is necessary to have clear in any light. LG made the switch from my old phone super easy and took only about 20 minutes with LG switch and my Google Backup. I love this phone and its a great Value spending much less than comparable Samsung $800 or more phones. I also signed up for the free 2 year warranty from LG and they are my cell phone company because they are standing behind their product.

Returning to Android on a strong note!
I've been a long-time (10 years) loyal iPhone user, but recently decided to give Android a chance.. and I'm glad I did so in a form of LG V40 ThinQ. This phone has surpassed my expectations in areas of screen quality, app interfacing, and battery life. I am very pleased with how easy it is to navigate and almost intuitive to set up. There are so many ways to customize this device and make it your own. And the fact that LG offers 2nd year complimentary warranty on this device is just superb. Great feel and quality
I have owned all LG phones dating back to the LG G2 and I recently up till yoday had the lovely LG v30. I decides to purchase the V35ThinQ as i was seeking the new features and interface. I most of all love the The OS and its reaponse but feel in love with the sound and Camera. I use my camera often for web use daily but as a father my photography with my daughter is a huge factor. The smoothness and fast sharp shooting of the V35 has amazed me and is top notch for LG to date. A+

    Best LG Phone
I've been apart of the LG family for some years. I love LG phones. This one tops all the ones I had prior. I have way more space to work with when it comes to downloading my fav apps such as shopping, games, financial and social networking. Also, this may seem petty but I now enjoy SnapChat vs. on my old LG device, Snaps kept lagging and it was a pain for me because I love to Snap in my very little free time as a working mom of 6. The camera quality is 10 times better too. Can't beat the ... read more appearance of crisp and clear professional photos. The LG V35 ThinQ is most definitely worth either paying for upfront or paying it off with time. Kudos LG Team!

    Easy transition between models
My first LG had a severe accident and died. I had liked the ease of finding things on it and wanted something I would not have a big learning curve. Except for contacts and the reloading of my personal apps, the transition has been very easy. I like some of the newer features like time and date showing all the time. I like the fingerprint log in. I never locked my old phone so this one is more secure in that way. And have finally learned how to get music on it. For an older person who is ... read more technically challenged, it is an easier smart phone to adapt to.

Moving from Windows phone to Android
All my previous phones are Windows phones and Microsoft is pretty much ending Windows phones the end of 2019. I got no choice but to find another brand and OS, not happy but what can I do. I found LG Stylo 4. Love the hardware but Android is pretty much designed for kids. Hoping that Koreans LG start coming out with LG mobile OS. I like to stay with one brand LG hardware and LG OS. Until then I have to put up with kids Android.

    Excellent Phone!
Bought it a little over a month ago. I've been a LG fan for a while. I had been using a LG Q6 but wanted a bigger screen for my eyes. This performs admirably. I also like LG's built in mail app, as it allows my to utilise a company logo on my outgoing email, which Gmail does not. Not even Apple's mail app allows this. If you don't do heavy multitasking or play graphic-intensive games, the 2 GB RAM will be fine. Cams are the greatest but I use my cam only occasionally. I love NFC in the ... read more Metro branding. I use NFC a lot.

    so so phone
I have had my phone now for a few months, never had an LG before so this phone was told to me it has a longer battery life which it does, so I do like that. But the fact is everytime I go to use it I have to tap it each time it won't stay on. I don't know if it is to do that or if that a flaw with the phone. So would I recommend this phone not sure.!!

    Awesome Phone
I recieved this phone from Asurion as a replacement for my old V10 that I was having issues with. This phone is incredible. Very easy to set up and us, and was is amazing is how fast the battery charges. There are a lot of nice features on this phone, and what I most like us it is not filled with boatware, and apps that are not used or unnecessary. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone that wants a phone that can do everything, and yet be personalized to your liking. Thanks LG for making ... read more a great product.

    LG V20: The Legacy Continues
Having enjoyed several previous LG phones, the Leon and G4, the v20 was my next purchase. For over a year now, this Swiss Army knife of a phone has been my constant companion and daily driver. Four stars for a three star phone
Why? Because there are some of us who are not interested in taking their phone into a swimming pool, but care a great deal about being forced into a new product purchase because we've evidently arrived at the point where the utility of most smart phones bizarrely comes down to the remaining capacity of the sealed-in battery. Once it became clear that this phone was probably one of the last to feature a replaceable battery (the follow-up V30 model follows the popular trend, for example), the ... read more purchase became a no-brainer. The three star rating is due in large part to the mono speaker, which is rather inadequate for a flagship model. The additional star is in recognition of the possibility that this may have been a design constraint imposed by the replaceable battery.
