SAN DIEGO and REDMOND, WA, August 16, 2004  Today, LG Mobile Phones and AT&T Wireless (NYSE:AWE) launched the new G4020 handset, a slim, lightweight phone packed with features at a price point guaranteed to appeal to mobile phone users everywhere. Consumers looking for a great deal won't have to compromise quality or style with the G4020, featuring a color screen, instant messaging capability and polyphonic sound, all in LG's trademark clamshell design.

With up to eight hours of talk time and ten days of standby time, the dual band G4020 offers a 65K color screen and external caller ID display, as well as a blue backlit keypad for easier dialing. Weighing in at less than three ounces, the slim, sleek G4020 supports AT&T Wireless mMode service and its multimedia messaging, text messaging and instant messaging services. It also features a substantial memory for storing downloaded pictures, animations and sounds. Polyphonic sound, one-touch Internet access and Java support for downloadable applications and games makes the G4020 a perfect choice for students, business people and families alike.
