Because the LG Laser TV has a laser diode based light source, unlike large–format projector TVs,
your TV can sit quite close to the wall it is being displayed on. For optimal viewing at a 16:9 aspect
ratio it is recommended that you secure your Laser TV approximately 22 inches away from its screen and
place the screen approximately 15 inches above the surface that your TV is secured to.
Installing the screen

See the diagram below (measured in mm) for additional placement guidelines.
Place the Laser TV on a sturdy level surface. You can also opt to purchase the LG Laser TV Custom Stand.

Place the Laser TV at an appropriate distance away from
the screen. The distance between the Laser TV and the screen determines the actual size of the image.
Position the Laser TV so that the lens is perpendicular to
the screen. If the lens is not perpendicular to the screen, the image displayed on the screen may be distorted. To correct
the distortion, use the Edge Adj function by pressing the SETTINGS button on your remote and selecting Picture from
Connect the power cords of the Laser TV and the connected devices to the wall outlet.
To prevent the internal heat from building up, install the Laser TV in a well-ventilated place.
Do not place the Laser TV on a carpet or rug and do not block the vent. Use the product on a leveled solid surface.
Leave enough distance (30 cm or more) around the vent of the Laser TV.
It's important that you keep the placement of your Laser TV secure, as any shifting can affect how the image appears on
your screen. In order to prevent any jostling and to more permanently fix your Laser TV unit, you may wish to use one of the two optional brackets included.
• The EZ Bracket more permanently fixes your Laser TV unit to the surface it's placed on.
• The Ceiling Bracket allows you to fix your Laser TV unit to the ceiling. It is especially recommended that a professional perform this type of installation.
Once you have your Laser TV secured in place, you still may need to adjust the image if the lens isn't perpendicular at a 90° angle
to the screen. If the image is distorted, you can adjust the top and bottom, right and left corners to prevent a trapezoidal picture.
Because the Edge Adj function may cause inferior screen image quality, use this function only when it is not possible to set up
the Laser TV at an optimal angle.
• Adjust the corners as necessary by increasing or decreasing the value on the "H" and "V" sliders.
• Press OK once the image is properly aligned.
While you use the Test Pattern option, the keys on the control panel do not work.
