LG Monitor - Brightness Levels Changing Automatically

At a Glance

Many LG Monitors offer smart features such as DFC (Digital Fine Contrast) and SES (Smart Energy Saving) to maximize picture detail based on your lighting environment. These features can be deactivated to prevent the brightness level from changing.

  1. How to Deactivate DFC (Digital Fine Contrast)

    1At the bottom center of the product, press the joystick button to open the main menu.

    2Move to the right to select [Settings].

    3Select [Picture].

    4Select [Picture Adjust].

    5Select OFF in [DFC]].

  2. How to Deactivate SES (SMART ENERGY SAVING)

    1At the bottom center of the product, press the joystick button to open the main menu.

    2Move to the right to select [Settings].

    3Select [General].

    4Select [SMART ENERGY SAVING].

    5Select [Off] to deactivate the function.
