At a Glance
If your monitor powers on but doesn’t display an image when connected to an external device, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can perform to help correct this issue.
Try This

Does the Monitor Power On
Press and hold the [POWER] button on the monitor.
If it is receiving power, the screen should light up after a few seconds and display a No Signal messageNoteIf the monitor screen does not light up, please see our LG Monitor - Troubleshooting No Power article for further assistance

Disconnect and Reconnect the External Device
Unplug the cable of the external device connected to the monitor for 3 seconds then plug it back in.
Disconnecting and reconnecting the connected cable will refresh the connection and resolve any communication issues -
Switch to a Different Input
If applicable, switch the connected cable to a different input to see if the picture is resolved.
If unable to switch to a different input, swap out the cable to see if the picture is restored.
