Please note that the PB63K model can only connect to a laptop via WiDi.
The method of connection may vary depending on the model.

Connecting via Wi-Fi Direct

How to share videos, music, and photos from your mobile phone with the projector (using DLNA)

1. Go to the projector’s HOME (Smart) → Settings → Network → Wi-Fi Screen Share and set it to [On].

2. Activate the Wi-Fi Direct function on your mobile phone and connect it to the projector.
Select [Settings] → [Wireless and Network] → [Wi-Fi ] → [Menu] → [Wi-Fi Direct] → [Connectable Devices] and select [PJTR] PA75K-JE.

3. Run the following app (DMS-enabled) on your mobile phone:
[SmartShare] for LG phones or [SmartLink] for Samsung phones.

4. Select the projector as the player.

5. Using the [SmartShare] menu on the projector’s HOME (Smart) screen, you can view and play files from your mobile phone on the projector.


Connecting via a wireless router (AP)

1. Go to the projector’s HOME (Smart) screen and select [Settings] → [Network] → [Network Connection].

2. Select the network you want to connect to.

3. Enter the password for the selected network.

4. The network connection is complete.

5. Go to HOME (Smart) → Settings → Network → Network Status to check if the wireless network is functioning properly.

6. Run the following app (DMS-enabled) on your mobile phone.
[SmartShare] for LG phones or [SmartLink] for Samsung phones.

7. Select the projector as the player.

8. Using the [SmartShare] menu on the projector’s HOME (Smart) screen, you can view and play files from your mobile phone on the projector.

PF85K/PF87K 모델

How to stream the mobile phone screens to the projector

1. Go to the projector's HOME (Smart) screen, select Settings → Network → Miracast/Intel’s WiDi, and set it to [On].

2. Run the Miracast app from your mobile phone.
Go to Settings → Wireless Network → Connection → Connection and File Exchange → Miracast (Enlarge TV Screen), and select the projector you wish to connect.

3. Now your mobile phone screens are streamed to the projector.

PA1000/PW700 models

1. Select [External Input] and then [Screen Share] from your projector.

2. Run the Miracast app from your mobile phone.
Go to Settings → Wireless Network → Connection → Connection and File Exchange → Miracast (Enlarge TV Screen), and select the projector you wish to connect.

3. Now your mobile phone screens are streamed to the projector.

WebOS-enabled models

1. Select HOME and then [Screen Share] from your projector.

2. Run a screen share app from your mobile phone.
Select the top bar, Screen Share, and then the projector you wish to connect.

※ If you fail to establish a connection based on these instructions or if a connection problem such as a jittery screen occurs, it is advisable to check your smartphone first and then contact LG Electronics Service Center for the projector inspection.

How to stream the screen you are watching on your iPhone to the projector
Enable AirPlay2 to share your device screens with your projector.
The AirPlay2 function is available only when the projector supports the capability and when both the projector and your iPhone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Streaming iPhone screens to the projector (models supporting screen share with iOS devices)

Models supporting AirPlay2: HU810PW (WebOS5.0)/PF610P (WebOS5.0)/HU710PW (WebOS6.0)

Enable AirPlay2 to share your device screens with your projector.
The AirPlay2 function is available only when the projector supports the capability and when both the projector and your iPhone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
1. Select HOME and then [Screen Share] from your projector.
2. Select the projector from the external devices listed on the [Screen Mirroring] screen.
3. If an [AirPlay Code] appears on your projector screen, enter the passcode on your iPhone.
Check if the iPhone screen is displayed on the projector properly.
