An LE error code on the washer's display indicates that the motor is locked, possibly due to a heavy wash load.
Large and heavy sized loads will put a strain on the motor, causing the LE code to occur. Performing a reset on the washer will normally resolve this error.
To reset the washing machine:
- Press POWER to turn the washer off
- Unplug the washer from the power outlet. If the outlet cannot be reached, turn the circuit breaker to the unit off.
- With the power disabled to the washer, press and hold the START/PAUSE button for 5 seconds.
- Plug the washer back in, or turn the circuit breaker back on.
The washer should now be reset and the LE code cleared. If washing a heavy or large load, reduce the load size and attempt to restart the cycle.
