- After purchasing a new TV or moving to a new area, you'll need to perform a channel scan on your TV to view broadcasts from local stations.
- If you're watching TV with a set-top box, you don't need to scan for channels - just set the external input to the set-top box and you're ready to go.
- To perform an automatic channel search, an over-the-air antenna or an antenna for receiving UHD broadcasts must be installed and the antenna must be connected to your TV with a cable.

1. Press the Settings button on your remote control and select Settings
again from the menu that appears.
2. Select [General].
3. Select [Channels].
4. Select [Channel Tuning].
5. Select [Auto Tuning].
6. Select an antenna connection.
7. Start searching for channels.
8. Channel search is completed.
9. Change the external input to [Live TV] to watch the discovered channels.
