[LG smart TV monitor] Let’s see how to set wired Internet

Troubleshooting
  • Connect the LAN terminal at the back of the smart TV monitor and the router or the Internet terminal on the wall using a LAN cable.
  • Select Wired Internet under Network and check if a connection is established normally.
  • If you are to use a fixed IP, select Edit and modify the IP.

1. Select Wired Internet Settings - [ settings Settings] button on the remote control → [ all settings All Settings] → [ General General] → [Network] → [Wired Network Connection (Ethernet)].

2. Select [Wired Network Connection (Ethernet)] → [Edit] →[ Set Automatically Set Automatically].

How to set wired network IP manually

1. Select [Wired Network Connection (Ethernet)] → [Edit] →[ Set Automatically Automatic Setting].

2. From [Edit], select an IP address and change it as you need.

3. Change the Subnet and the Mask/Gateway/DNS Server in the same way.

4. Once edit is complete, select Connect.

When network connection fails
  • Check the Internet cables and router, and the Internet terminal on the wall for any abnormality.
  • Pull out the Internet cable from the smart TV monitor and connect it to your laptop or PC to see if Internet connection is made.
  • If you need to use a fixed IP, select the Wired Network to display a detailed list of items, select Edit and manually edit the items as follows.
  • Check the [X]-marked items in every segment of the Connection Status.

• If abnormality is found in the [Smart TV Monitor – Gateway] segment : Check the LAN cable, the router, and the terminal on the wall for abnormality.
