My aircon only lasted for 13 months
I am very upset with this product. It only lasted for 13 months. It wont turn on anymore. LG told me that warranty is only valid for 12 months. The service center arranged for a service person to come to my place and check the aircon the next day but the repair person texted and told me that he can only come over 3 days later. Buying this product is like burning your money and the service center wont help you to make things right. They dont even have grace period. My warranty expired by only 1 month. Maybe this might be a way LG makes money from consumers. Posted this on forums together with voice recording of the customer service staff that spoke to me and also a screenshot of the service man that was suppose to show up tomorrow according to the customer service officer but he decided to come 3 days later and charge an absurd amount for inspection Hide Review

WORST AIRCON EVER
I have purchased my unit last Aug27 then Sept8 unit stopped cooling. Still waiting for the SC to return my unit that is being reprocessed. Grabe sana pinapalitan yung mga ganitong unit less than 20 days may defect na agad.

i bought my window type dual inverter last January of 2020. in less than a year the unit broke. after the first repair in just less than 4 months my unit broke again. then the problem continues. after 6 months there was leak on tubes. repair and system reprocessed was required. Just this July our aircon unit was pulled for system reprocess. after the July repair. the unit is with LG service center again subject to evaporator replacement for the second time. Sana lang LG will implement UNIT REPLACEMENT if proven faulty ang unit kung under warranty pa. instead of repairing or replacing parts. nakatipid ka nga sa kuryente pero ang laki ng gastos sa repair. Very stressful and very frustrating.

False advertising, poor product service
The product purchased in 2018,the product does not have a 10-year warranty. If you apply for repair, you need to pay for the inspection fee P500. There is no free inspection. If it is broken, you will need to pay extra.

If you only took the time to read, then you would have known that the 10-year warranty is only for the inverter and not the entire unit. You also posted this review with a 1-star rating and yet opted to recommend the product?? Please rethink your choices in life.

Stopped working after less than 2yrs
LA150EC Apparently there is a design flaw that messes up you wiring harness. The harness that the display is connected to is not built well. The harnesses will droop and make contact with the metal housing. This plus the moisture equals a corroded wiring harness contact points. Service center is quoting me 4.5k for a wiring harness, yes you read correctly, wiring harness lang yan. Had an LG AC and Washing Machine fail early on before as well, so 3rd time's the charm, no more LG appliances for my household after this. I do not recommend, not just this a/c but all and any LG products, quality has gone down the drain. LG, there should be a negative rating, I'd pick that for sure.

Faulty unit, replaced w/ another faulty
NOT RECOMMENED. GOT A FAULTY UNIT, REPLACED AND GOT ANOTHER FAULTY UNIT. I PURCHASE MY UNIT SINCE AUG04, BUT STILL UNABLE TO ENJOY THE MONEY I SPENT EVER SINCE. IT'S NOT 70% ENERGY SAVINGS, IT'S 100%, SINCE I'M NOT ABLE TO USE IT SINCE PURCHASED. So yeah, you need to have a 10 year warranty, because compressors are faulty by manufacture.

I installed the unit on Aug09 with unusually loud sound so I asked LG to check. Unit was check Aug11 & Service Center (SC) said grounded compressor. The unit was replaced on Aug23, tested on the 24th & there's a continuous high pitch sound. SC came on the 25th, dismantled the unit & his assessment was: normal yan mam, pag umaandar ung compressor. I asked yung matinis na tunog?, Opo Mam, sa compressor yun. I replied, sa dami ng aircon namin, LG man or hindi, walang matinis na tunog ang aircon. He assembled the unit & later said it sa kaha ng aircon yan mam. I then replied if dahil sa kaha (which by the way, came with the aircon), dapat vibrating ang ingay, hindi matinis. Chineck ko bago ako tumawag sa LG, hindi nag va-vibrate ung aircon sa labas. So SC called their office on speaker phone & said wala akong makitang problema mam, pakinggan nyu po, the other party replied to check on few things which the staff said he checked & found nothing wrong. I forwarded the video of the high pitch sound (while the technicians were assessing the unit) to the SC's office. Ms Terry said she will coordinate with LG. I requested from LG Customer Service (CS) to speak to a LG Tech Manager; I want to hear it directly from LG that the sound is just NORMAL operation sound. I was told not possible to speak to LG Tech. Requested to speak with Customer Service Manager - as per Ms Lindel, there's no CS manager or supervisor on duty as Managers & Supervisors are on WFH arrangement, calls cannot be transferred to them & I cannot request for a call back either. I requested for a full refund so I can just buy another brand - pending LG's reply. CS staff said she will escalate my concern to LG Head Office & expect a response, if not from LG, from the SC. SC has messaged me that they will make a technical report & it's LG who will coordinate with me moving forward. LG has not personally reached out to me as of writing.

Great Product!
Recently changed from a 1hp non inverter to this. Sobrang bilis lumamig and pwede na mamaintain yung comfortable temp. Just waiting for my next bill cycle to check the savings.

Also for other people who bought this, did you remove the rubber cap for drainage without installing the draining cap? I just noticed there's no water dripping outside.

Great, but the smart pairing feature.
Heard this is pricey but I got this for just 29k, best sale price the dealer can give for straight charge.

Installation is just the usual and it works well as it should. Cooling is fast and can reach the target temperature of 21°c in less than 30 minutes on a 26 sqm outer condo unit with no direct sunlight and only 3 persons living.

My frustration goes to the smart feature. I was just frustrated that I had to remove the special characters on my router name and password for ThinQ to connect because they have no way of accepting special characters.
