What people are saying
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile and effective I bought the air-conditioner because we have some small windows that would not fit a conventional window air-conditioning unit. I found this new portable unit to be very convenient because I don’t have to lift it up into the window and worry about securing in place. It can also be moved from room to room as needed which is great because we do not have to buy multiple units when we just want to cool one portion of the house. It has a relatively slim profile so it doesn’t take up much space in the room. Puts out a lot of cold air. My only complaint is that it is a tad noisy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy to operate we bought this last year to heat/cool a remodel in our garage where our granddaughter hangs out. She was 15 and had no problems using it- the auto thermostat works great-set it and forget it! Takes up a little space but well worth it! Did not add significantly to the electric bill. Very pleased with the product.

What is the water full option i bought this unit used it works great

Asked by: Mr cool guy
Hello, we are unsure if we understand your question. When the internal water collection tank is full, FL will appear in the display and the air conditioner will turn off until the tank is emptied. If you would like to use a drain hose, please refer to page 23 in your manual. ^AC

What does FL flashing mean

Asked by: RJD1
The FL Code is designed to appear when the water collection tank is full. This should only occur if there is a high level of humidity in the room. Such would be normal operation. If the code appears, and the tank has already been emptied, then the machine may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp.

My unit is leaking water from the back vent. It's never don't his before. I drained it but it seems to keep leaking. Is there something else I could try?

Asked by: Jrrs
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this Portable Air Conditioner. Water from the back of the cabinet is most likely related to a need for the vent / filter to be cleaned, and / or unusually high humidity in the room. Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 for additional information.

It says to run install a drain hose on the bottom drain port to run in dry mode. Can you use the upper drain port and leave it connected and running through the hole in the window port?

Asked by: Whiskeyblue371
I apologize, but no; this upper drain port is designed to operate in conjunction with a pump motor for the space of about 3 minutes. This information is available on page 23.
