What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the ovens I've owned this range since it was first released. I am quite happy with the features of the lower oven such as bake, convection bake, roast, convection roast, and speed roast -- the latter making foods have a crispy skin and no pre-heating of the oven. The big downfall is there is not a telescoping rack in the bottom oven. So a turkey or big roast is very difficult to get out of the oven when it is so very low to the ground. I use the top oven most often as there are only two of us in the home. The cooktop is OK. It is difficult to keep clean and only one burner cooks food at a normal pace. The others are just too slow.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I bought this beautiful electric range as part of a LG 4 piece kitchen suite from Costco in south Florida and received it on December 05, 2019. Fortunately I also purchased an extended warranty thru Costco on top of the extra 2 years LG provides, unfortunately my beautiful electric range developed an issue on August 05, 2020 which forced me to call, as directed by Costco customer service, that I needed to call Costco Concierge services, now keep in mind I had to wait almost 50 minutes to get that information. The service person just said I was lucky I only had to wait 50 minutes. How special was he. But it gets better, Concierge, after only 40 minutes wait, then told me I had to call LG warranty department. Another journey into the unknown. LG after several long 40-75 minutes of waiting and several warranty discussions I had a LG repair company scheduled on August 07, 2020. Sounds like everything is getting better right, wrong that service technician spent 8 minutes in my home didn’t touch my range, I showed him how my main burner would NOT go on unless I turned another burner on AND the HOT surface light would NOT stay on after any burner was turned off. Well “Kevin” the LG technician, said “it’s the control board, mame”. Said he would tell LG parts to send a new on. A week later I again call LG warranty service, again I had to 40 minutes, to see when this part come in and to my surprise “Kevin” told the LG warranty service my range was working and my work order” ticket” was closed off. Had to set up new work order/ticket, get new company, ATS services, and as of this date, September 09, 2020, 2 visits with wrong and missing parts, I am still dealing and waiting for a repair I have paid Costco and LG for. I now have to wait till September 21, 2020, for this service to be completed, hopefully, and pray I never have another issue that necessitates calling for any warranty service. Product is beautiful but warranty service is absolutely horrible.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easily Scratched, Too Fragile Stovetop We are very happy with she stove's cooking and baking performance but very unhappy with its ceramic cooktop, which is ridiculously fragile. It claims to be a type of glass, but is too sensitive to for standard glass cleaners, e.g. Windex. So you are relegated to having to use special cream polish, which is mediocre in dealing with grease spatters. Further, you're out of luck if you want to use your beloved cast iron ware that has been in the family for generations. LG should engineer and make available a rugged cooktop as an option.

Spec sheet (quick install & clearances) diagram downloaded from the Home Depot website shows width of 29.8" and lists "overall width" at 29 15/16". Here on LG web site the "overall width" is listed as 29 7/8" with a "cabinet width" of 30". Confusing!

Asked by: becca321
Hi Becca321. You are absolutely right that the given dimensions are confusing and need to be more consistent and we sincerely apologize for that. In the specifications for LG 7.3 cu. ft. Double Oven Electric Range with ProBake Convection, Self Clean and EasyClean in Stainless Steel, Model # LDE4413ST on the Home Depot site, the listed width of 29.938" is the same as the overall width listed as 29 15/16". The fraction, when expressed as a decimal, is actually 29.9375 & has been rounded off to three significant numbers after the decimal and listed as 29.938". The overall width listed as 29 7/8" on our site is 29.875" when expressed as a decimal but can be rounded off to 29.9 if rounding off to one significant figure after the decimal, but if it is listed as 29.8 on the Home Depot site, it appears that instead of rounding the number off, it was truncated as 29.8". The difference between 29 7/8" (29.875") and 29 15/16" (29.9375") is an infinitesimal 0.0625" (1.588 mm) as is the difference between 29 15/16" (29.9375") and 30". The opening width between standard kitchen cabinets is 30" & the range oven is designed to fit seamlessly into that opening. On closer inspection, the difference between the given dimensions is so small as to make any difference, but as you pointed out, it is nonetheless confusing & we will have that corrected. Thank you for pointing it out...^IFV
