What people are saying
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looks and good cooking This range performs very well. The large oven bakes evenly and I really like the blue color (it matches my counter tops). The range top is very easy to clean. There is a slight flaw with the bottom storage drawer; I find it difficult to open from the top and have to pull it out at the sides. On the whole, this is a great appliance at a reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to clean, great features and style We purchased this stove after ours died in the middle of baking christmas cookies. I love how easy it is clean up after cooking and the style. We currently have 3 LG appliances and plan to purchase another LG when our refrigerator needs replacing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doesn't show true oven temp, back burner usage I have had this oven for a couple of years now and have two issues. The first is that you can only see the true oven temperature while it is pre-heating. After it reaches the set temperature it will just display the set temperature and never again display the true temperature no matter how many times the door is opened and the internal temperature drops. Second, our overhead fan greatly favors the back left side so we use to cook our fried dishes requiring full power on the back left burner. This resulted in the plastic on the back control panel eventually cracking and peeling so do not use the back left at high power. The back right is the lower power simmer burner and there has been no problems with this burner. Other than these issues it has been a reliable and trouble free range.

What color is the display light on the LG 5 burner freestanding 5.4 cu ft gas range, lrg3091SW? (Blue or green?)

It would drive me nuts if the color of the display light doesn't match the one on my microwave which sits above the stove. The one on my microwave is a soft green.
Asked by: Lorrie
It's a match!

Is there a center griddle attachment for this range?

If there is, please advise you website engineer there is and also please inform Nebraska Furniture Mart that it is available and a price.
Asked by: Cokeorcoffee
I apologize, but no; there is no griddle available for this model. The use of a griddle would not heat properly. As the center burner is round in its design, items at the extremities of the griddle would not receive the needed cooking heat.

Can I use burners during power outage?

It looks like the oven and broiler cannot be used during a power outage. Is it the same for the cooktop burners, or can the burners be lit and used when the power is out?
Asked by: Tellme
Yes you can use the burners during a power outage but you will need to use a match, lighter or preferably a long fireplace or grill match/lighter. You can not use the oven during a power failure due to the use of electronic oven controls.

How do I clean spills that go into the oven bottom vents?

This is for the LRG3091. There was a light spill and splatter when I cooked my ham. The spill was on the bottom, on the sides and some into the vents on the bottom. I wiped up what I could (but obviously I could not wipe what went into the vents) Then I put the oven on self clean. After the self clean, and after I wiped the oven down, there are still some spots visible on the bottom and sides and the the spill into the vents did not clean. I had my other stove for 20 years and never had any spots. I do not want my new stove to have spots after only one cooking. I was so excited, I waited 3 months for this stove because of the quality rating, but obviously something is wrong.
Asked by: Lourdes
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this range oven. You may notice some white ash in the oven after the Self Clean cycle. Wipe it up with a damp cloth after the oven cools. If white spots remain, remove them with a soap-filled scouring pad and rinse thoroughly with a vinegar and water mixture. These deposits are usually a salt residue that cannot be removed by the clean cycle. The use of steel wool can damage the surface. There are no options for opening the lower portion of the oven to get to the inside of the vents.

Does this unit come with a propane coversion kit?

LRG3091sw
Asked by: Mike18405
Make sure your range is properly adjusted by a qualified service technician or installer for the type of gas (natural or LP) that is to be used. Your range can be converted for use with either type of gas. A conversion kit is not included.See the installation instructions.

What is the depth dimension with and without the oven handle?

I have limited space and will be replacing an electrical range with a gas range. I have been looking at the LRG3091AW. The current range sits near a corner and in order to open the drawers on that wall I need to open the oven door so the drawers have enough clearance to open. I need to know the depth dimension of this range without the handle and then with the handle to see if this appliance will work in this space. What is the thickness of the oven door?
Asked by: fjste
Overall Depth (to door) 26 1/2" Overall Depth (including handle) 27 31/32" For further details please visit the LG LiveChat Team at www.lg.com/us/support/message-customer-support
