Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working 2 months ago I purchased this item a year ago for my new home and this item stopped working 2 months ago. I been trying to get it fixed and the wrong part keeps on getting sent every 3 weeks. I made multiple calls and emails to get a replacement. I had the worse service with LG Manufacture. Item looks fancy but could not be fixed or replaced. As a mother of 3 I need to cook and its been impossible to get help. I even emailed the president of LG and nothing has been done. I have all my TV's and appliances LG. Due to the horrible customer service I have received for my repair. I will no longer recommend this company!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very hard to clean. Avoid! It Looks good, but LG stainless steel is impossible to clean. Professional stainless steel cleaners will not work on LG stainless steel. They leave streaks and have to be buffed out later. Soap and water is a two or three step process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best cooktop ever! We love the speed of this cooktop. Water heats so quickly. The knobs are easily accessible and allow the gas to light easily. Having 5 burners gives options for cooking many dishes at the same time. The griddle feature is used almost daily for quick meals.

Can a griddle be ordered for the LSCG366ST? And if so, what is the part number?

Asked by: Shann
We appreciate your interest in this Gas Cooktop. A griddle can be used with the left hand burners of this stove. However, this griddle would have to be an aftermarket item. We do not have a specific model available for this item.

Present cutout is 34 9/16 X 20 3/4 I would like to know if this unis will cover all of the present cutout opening Thanks
Asked by: alan3
According to the installation specifications for this model, the 36” cooktop will require a cut-out area measuring 19 11/16” from front to back, and 33 15/16” from side to side. There must also be a minimum of 2 3/4" between the cutout and the back wall, and 1 5/8” between the cutout and the front edge of the cabinet.

Will this operate in the event of loss of elec power. This would be LP gas.

Asked by: bbabcock
IN CASE OF POWER FAILURE In case of a power failure, you can light the gas surface burners on your cooktop with a match. Hold a lit match to the burner, then push in and turn the control knob to the LITE position. Use extreme caution when lighting burners this way. Surface burners in use when an electrical power failure occurs will continue to operate normally.

How do you clean cast iron grates?

Asked by: Tabby
Lift the grates out when they have cooled. They should be washed regularly and, of course, after spillovers. Wash them in hot, soapy water and rinse with clean water. When replacing the grates, be sure they are positioned securely over the burners. Replace the grates so that the continuous arcs are formed with the center ribs of all three grates. The grates are also dishwasher safe. DO NOT clean the grates in a Self Clean Oven cycle.

Where does the griddle go?

The instruction manual makes no sense. On page 7 it says: "The extra large burner (CENTER) is the maxium output burner ... It has a special UtraHeat setting designed ... for use with the griddle." OK so the griddle goes on the extra large burner in the center. Got it. No, wait... Page 9, "Using the Griddle". A picture with the griddle on the LEFT burners. OK maybe on the left? Page 9: "How to Place the Griddle: The griddle can only be used on the LEFT side grate." OK I guess it's on the left. Page 9, the very next sentence: "The griddle must be properly placed on the CENTER grate." What in the world?
Asked by: DScott
I apologize for the confusion with the listings in the owner’s manual for this cooktop range. The entry listed on page 7 states that the center burner is designed for use with cookware that is 10” or larger or for use with the griddle (LCG3691ST only). Since this unit is not the LCG3691ST, this statement does not apply. I will certainly be checking with our Factory regarding the conflicting statements listed on page 9. These statements were copy/pasted when the manual was created. Use of a griddle on the LEFT SIDE GRATE is the correct information.

can the lscg366st be converted to lp gas?

Asked by: dolly
This cooktop leaves the factory set for use with natural gas. When converted to LP gas, the conversion must be performed by a qualified LP gas installer. The conversion instructions and LP orifices are supplied with your cooktop. Keep these instructions and the orifices in case you want to convert back to natural gas.
