Does this model have an internal vent or can it accompany an down draft vent system? Our old one has a built in drown draft vent and out ceiling doesn't support an overhead good vent. Just trying to find an option since we've already purchase the oven.
The LG Slide-In Range with Large Capacity Oven and EvenJet™ Convection, Model # LSE3090ST does not have an internal vent nor does it support a down draft vent system. You would need a cooktop vent system or a vent hood...^IFV

This is to replace a 20 year old DROP IN electric range. What modifications do I need to make to accommodate this new range?
This is a free standing range. Probably will not work in your space. It doesn't have a lip to go over the counter top and will leave a huge gap.

Is there a way to disable the noisy fan that blows when the oven is used?
Slide in range model number LSE3090ST: The noisy oven fan is not a good idea. Had we known about it we would not have bought this range. We like everything else about the stove, but would love to have a NEW QUITE RANGE.
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this range. While it is normal for the fan to be audible, it should not be excessively loud. If it seems too loud, then the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp.

I'm going to purchase an electric glass top stove and will be pressure canning. I have heard that this May be a problem with this stove
Hello Tooth. Your interest in the LG Slide-In Range with Large Capacity Oven and EvenJet™ Convection, Model # LSE3090ST is appreciated. Canning should not be an issue with this unit. The Home Canning Tips section in the owner's manual recommends that you be sure that the canner is centered over the surface unit and flat on the bottom. The base must not be 1" larger than the element. Use of water bath canners with rippled bottoms may extend the time required to bring the water to a boil and cooktops may be damaged. It also recommends that you use the high heat setting only until the water comes to a boil or pressure is reached in the canner. If the heat is not turned down, the
cooktop may be damaged...^IFV

Why didn't my range come with a meat probe?
The webpage www.lg.com/us/ranges-ovens/lg-LSE3090ST
indicates the model I purchased has a meat probe. Mine didn't come with one, nor a button on the range labeled "probe". It was the one feature I purchased the range for.
Ours did not either. LG doesn't seem to be helpful with the pieces missing from their appliances that are listed to be included. Disappointing, right!

How does your range fit a countertop?
We are considering buying your range, but other makers' slide-in ranges have a flange or overhang that goes on top of the adjoining countertop to give a built-in look. Your range has smooth sides, just like a non-slide-in. It looks like there will be a gap between the sides of the range and the countertop, into which food will fall.
Are there accessory pieces that overhang the countertop on either side?
There aren't accessories. It also doesn't come with the rear filler piece that is to be included. There is a gap on the sides. It doesn't overlap. We ended up making our own since we had a very close fit with 'L" pieces of aluminum & flat pieces we got at Home Depot. Not sure if this might help.

Does top of range fit over the countertop
I currently have a slide-in and it has an overlapping "lip" around the top of the range, so that it sits on top of the counter (in other words there is no gap of space between the range top and the counter top). In the picture, it looks like there is no overlapping piece on this LG range. Does it have the overlapping edges or not? Thank you.
No lip around the top.
