What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love The Clean Slide In Look I bought this range in 2015 to replace a White GE Dual Oven Convection Smooth Top Electric Range. I was looking for a slide in stainless steel dual oven. What I love about this range: Easy to clean smooth top, large top oven capacity, slide in makes range fit nicely in between countertops and it looks great, self cleaning is a wonderful feature and does a great job, slide out rack in oven is very nice, bright blue interior (it just looks pretty when it is clean :-). What I don't love about this range: Lack of locking feature for top surface elements. Twice, someone has leaned up against the front of range and accidentally turned on a stove top element. One of those times a pan with pizza on it burned until it actually caught on fire. That's an even bigger concern if you have young children. The front controls are hard to clean. The vent holes at top of oven door allow for liquids to accidentally drip (when taking a pan out of oven that is full of juice) in between glass and door must be taken apart to clean. This is not covered under warranty. I don't understand how the split rack is beneficial. The oven cooling seems to go on forever unless you open the oven door and the cooling fan is loud. I've only used the bottom oven twice. It's very small for an oven. There is only one element. I mainly use it as a storage drawer for the broiler and a couple of cookie sheets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Oven vent Ordered stove online and love it. This is the best stove we have owned ever. The only thing is the vent out of the front of the oven. I understand way, but why not put the vent at the bottom of the door instead of the handle on top of the door. It could be just below the window or at the bottom of the door. Please check out and replace just the doors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enjoy the range, but a long wait to get it. We selected this range specifically for the design. I wanted the controls on the front and wanted a free-standing, not a built in. I love the way the range looks and works. We ordered it in November, but didn't get it until March--were told that there were problems getting parts from suppliers. I certainly hope that others don't need to wait as long. I also hope that if we ever need repairs, that parts will be available. I do, however, love the extending rack and the way the burners work. I don't like the fan that blows the hot air out of the front of the oven while is cooks and then while it cools down. I will learn to live with that, I suppose. Overall, I am pleased with the range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful oven! We have only had this oven for a month now but so far I have been more than pleased with this purchase. I researched quite a bit before we bought and was very nervous becuase we got this range on sale with rebates and there were no customer reviews to read. It just seemed too good to be true. We really wanted the professional look with the controls in the front. This one fit that look the absolute best and also had the double oven option in the drawer below. The oven size is amazing. I already cooked a ham while also cooking a side dish and cookies! The different racks really give you so many option. The slide out rack is the best! Even my husband is pleased and he is so picky about appliances. He would of normally bought something twice the price but is so happy with the feel of the knobs and door and that we paid half of the price. We also have the fridge and dishwasher which match nicely!

What is the split rack designed to do, what purposes are most appropriate for use?

Asked by: Rugby
We appreciate your interest in this oven and its accessories. The purpose of the split rack is to allow larger items to be placed in the oven, on the lower rack, while a smaller dish can be placed on the upper rack at the same time.

Can you set start and stop time for oven?

Hi, When I leave for work in morning, can I set oven to start at certain times? For example, turn on at noon and shut off at 12:30 p.m. Thanks!
Asked by: chrisaw118
START TIME (Delayed timed COOK) The automatic timer of the DELAYED TIMED COOK function will turn the oven ON and OFF at the time you select. This feature can only be used with the: BAKE, CONVECTION BAKE and CONVECTION ROAST modes. To set the oven for Delayed Start (example, to BAKE at 300°F and start operating the bake mode at 4:30): Make sure that the clock is set for the correct time of day. 1. Touch the BAKE button. 350°F will appear in the display. 2. Use the oven buttons to set the temperature: Touch 3, 0 and 0. 3. Touch the START TIME button. 4. Set the start time: Touch 4, 3 and 0 for 4:30. 5. Touch the START button. A short beep will sound and the oven will begin baking. The oven will continue to cook for the set amount of time and then turn off automatically. When the cooking time has elapsed: • END and the time of day will show in the display. • The cook end indicator tone will sound every 60 seconds until the CLEAR OFF button is touched. • When WARM is set, the warming function is activated after cooking for the set time. COOK TIME (TIMED COOK) The TIMED COOK feature allows you to set the oven to cook for a specific length of time. This feature can only be used with the BAKE, CONVECTION BAKE, CONVECTION ROAST and FAVORITE modes. (further details in the manual) In any case, I would like to mention, even though the options you are looking for are available, we do not recommend to leave the unit unattended at high heat settings.

Does the LSRM2010ST come in a double oven?

We bought the double oven / range LDE3011ST that has the control head on the back of the cook top. My wife had her heart set on finding a range/ (Double) oven with the controls on the front like the 2010ST? Does LG offer a double oven as described above? John
Asked by: JPatrick
I apologize, but no; at this time, all of our double range ovens have the control panel along the back of the cook surface. We do, however, have separate cooktops and double wall ovens that would allow a front control panel for the cooktop. These can be viewed on our website at http://www.lg.com/us/cooktops.

Does the top of the slide in range cover the countertop or is there a gap where crumbs can fall between countertop and range?

Asked by: slidein
It does not slide over the countertop. It is freestanding. Mine fits quite closely to the granite, so I'm not too worried about crumbs. I also did not put in the anti-tip brackets, so I can slide it out to clean as needed.

Where can we buy a trim kit for a LG slide-in range?

Bought a slide-in range. Need a trim kit for the side and back of the range. Need to close gap between range and countertop.
Asked by: Kenworth
We appreciate your interest in this slide-in range and its accessories. We do not produce a trim kit for this particular range. Any that might be available would be after-market and from a 3rd party distributor only.
