Rated 1 out of 5 by from Issues on streaming and display I bought this player a year and small change ago. The price was in my budget range.( I'm on SSDI). About six months ago Netflix would freeze up device ggrequiring me to unplug and retry. I reset to factory and reloaded apps.Still happened. Not a big deal unplune picturegging and plugging it back in. Noe the screen has gone oversize like it's been set to 150%. Unable to use apps for streaming as the picture is cut off like an old bad pan and scan. It's not my TV as everything picturewise when not using player. Unable to find this problem on community or any forums. I'm very disappointed as nowit seems I need to replace it and can't really afford to. I would not recommend this player.

Is a data cable the same thing as an ethernet cable? You need an ethernet cable for it to connect to your modem

I've never heard of mirroring a phone to a dvd player. You can mirror your phone to a smart tv by finding mirror casting in your phone's settings.
