And throw away the first 2 containers of ice to make sure they’re well filtered. It works amazing and is very quiet. Well worth the money and very sturdy. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ice maker, poor Lowe’s service Ice maker works great. Installed easily. Shari tell connectors make this a breeze to self-install. Lowe’s will try to sell you the LK 65 because they cannot order this one for some reason. Then their installers don’t know how to connect to the factory installed water dispenser. Lesson I learned! Order straight from Lowe’s and do it yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ice Maker I have ever owned. We purchased this ice maker when we replaced our refrigerator. We had grown accustomed to having ice whenever we wanted it. This ice maker is worth it's weight in gold. Not only is it fast, but the ice cubes are larger than "usual" ones and the bucket is bigger as well so we are always well stocked with ice. The price was reasonable, installation was easy and we couldn't be happier with it.

The picture doesnt show a fill tube, valve or any other parts. Are these included in this kit or is it just the ice maker and tray?

I would like to know the function of the three lights on front of ice maker. LK75C

The three LED lights on the LG Automatic Ice Maker Kit for LG Top Freezer Refrigerator, Model # LK75C are the water supply amount indicator. When you first turn on the ice maker, stage 2(the middle light) is normal which means that the ice maker is running well. The water amount will vary depending on the water control switch setting as well as on the water pressure of your water supply line...^Ivan

I have a new Ltcs20020 .  Will this ice maker work and does it have the fill tube and water valve?

The LG Automatic Ice Maker Kit, Model # LK65C is the compatible ice maker kit for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 20 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator, Model # LTCS20020*. A Water Valve Assembly is included with the kit. The wiring harness for the water valve is located at the lower right side in the back of the refrigerator. You will need to remove and discard the icemaker fill tube opening cover located on the upper right side of the refrigerator and insert the icemaker fill tube all the way into the opening until it stops. To connect to your home water supply, refer to the Water Line Installation Instructions within your refrigerator’s Owner’s Manual...^Ivan

Same question as HealthHiker610...Is there a dual valve or something that will allow ice AND water? Right now, it's only ice OR water because there is one valve.

Does anyone realize that this refrigerator (LRTLS2403S) already has a water dispenser, valve, and tubing installed? Where and how do you attach the tubing for the icemaker? I spent an hour with LG customer service, then Home Depot, and no answer.

Our specifications for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 24 cu.ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator, Model # LRTLS2403S list the refrigerator as having an internal water dispenser, meaning that the valve and the tubing for the water dispenser will already be installed for people who are not looking to add the Optional LG Automatic Ice Maker Kit for LG Top Freezer Refrigerator, Model # LK75C. Included accessories for the ice maker kit are tube connectors, a fill tube, and a water valve assembly. You will need to first remove the connector cover, and press like the arrows indicate in order to connect the Icemaker into the freezer. Then you will need to plug the Icemaker wire harness into the connector (that is visible when the cover is removed) located in the freezer wall until you hear a clicking sound. Secure the Icemaker to the freezer using one of the provided screws. Before installing the ice bucket, install the freezer shelf. Put the ice bucket directly under the icemaker (to the left and all the way to the rear of the shelf under the icemaker). Make sure that the icemaker switch is set to O (off) position. Remove and discard the icemaker fill tube opening cover that is located on the upper right side of the refrigerator; insert the icemaker fill tube all the way into the opening until it stops. Locate the marks on the back of the cabinet where the fill tube will be installed. Place the 5 screws on the marks and tap them with the screwdriver to make a small hole. Fasten the fill tube using the band and the Phillips screws. Position the tube connector. Insert the tube from the water valve (white) the left opening, then remove the clip from around the right opening, insert the icemaker fill tube (black), and reinsert to secure the tube. Insert tubes until only one guideline is showing. Tug gently to make sure the tube is secure...^Ivan
