Rated 3 out of 5 by from was good until this last year. worked fine till the last few weeks - i guess i was expecting something that would last as long as the last one did - over 10 years. 4 years is unacceptable. if your product is designed to fail after 4 years. you can keep it. i dont need the aggravation at my age. is it wrong for a product to last longer??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome monitor! Although I just recently bought this a couple of hours ago, its a great monitor from what I've experienced so far. Really accurate colors, amazing overall display, and very stylish design. Be warned though, while the bezel is as small as they say, the screen doesn't start until 1.25cm in! So there is still a black border around the screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear Image and Great Colors This is a great monitor, especially when you factor in price. I see monitors that are triple the price and not better. Some people get confused with the zero bezel. Yes it does have a zero bezel, but the image does not go all the way out to the end of the panel, but it still displays 27 inch image with a smaller footprint than an averaged monitor that has a half inch bezel. With that said, you are getting a 27 inch display and image with a zero bezel. I am fussy so I did spend a lot of time calibrating it to how I like the image to look. For the price you can’t go wrong. It is a great monitor. It would be nice if height Adjustment options.

Why do I have additional black borders on 1080p?

The problem is: When I set my IPS277l-bn on max resolution (1920*1080) the displayed area is smaller than when I run it on 1600*900, for example. There're additional 'black borders' around the picture displayed. I mean, there's a frame, surrounding the display area itself... And there's some black space between picture and that frame. And I cannot adjust screen size -- display menu tells me it is only possible with D-Sub... And there's no such black border on smaller resolutions. PS: I have monitor drivers installed. I use 'DVI-D to HDMI' cable. Video card is Radeon X1950

What is the monitor's bezel width?

In some pictures, it looks like the monitor has an incredibly small (~1mm) bezel and in others, it looks like the monitor has a larger (~10 mm) bezel.
Asked by: nmarinsek
Unlike most traditional monitors that have a thick outer bezel around the panel, this monitor uses a very thin black plastic trim as the outer bezel, but there is also an "inner bezel" which is about 3/8" thick before the actual image of the screen is shown. If you are thinking about multi-monitor setups, I estimate there is a gap approx 1/2" (12mm) when you combine both inner and outer bezel. I think most get confused because when you look at picture on box, you can only see the thin outer plastic bezel. It's only when you power monitor you can see inner bezel that's under the screen.

No DVI-D input on IPS277L

My graphics card has 2 DVI-D outputs and I am using one for my L226WTQ. How do Ihook up my new IPS277L? Your 23 inch IPS monitors have DVI-D. Your owner's manhual says not to use HDMI because of interference. I want to run my old LG monitor and now my new one as a second monitor..
Asked by: KG7J
My owner's manual reads "If you use HDMI PC, it can cause compatibility problem." That statement covers lots of different hardware both PC & Mac. I'm using HDMI on my IPS277L monitor and having zero problems, and I get the max resolution for this monitor. For under $10 you can purchase a HDMI to DVI-D Cable, or DVI-D to VGA cable. Either on cable will work with this monitor.

How can I adjust my programs to use the entire screen. I now have an one inch black border on my monitor. In other words, my programs do not utilize the entire available screen size. I have spent lots of time trying to adjust and I need help. Thanks Lorie M.

We appreciate your interest in this monitor. Multiple video signals can be connected to this unit, but only one can be viewed at any given time. This monitor also does not have the capability of sending a signal outbound to another display.

More screen "space"

I just purchased the IPS7 27 inch with HML (IPS277L-BN). Currently I am developing a website that I have designing in my head for years. Doing this work required many different applications to be running at the same time and requires alot of "space". Currently I am running the resolution at 1920 x 1080. Its a wonder screen and I love the quality, but it doesn't increase my workable area. Is there a way to increase my workable area on this monitor or is there a way to easily add another monitor without too much additional cost? I'm looking for a usual solution, or any creative ideas. Thanks for your help!
Asked by: Irro
We appreciate your interest in this monitor. The highest resolution available for this model is 1920x1080 at 60Hz. The only way to have more “desktop” space would be to change the dimensions of the windows on the screen.
