Amazing Picture and ease of access to all features
I have had a plasma TV for over 12 years that has been trouble free with an amazing picture that is still better than most modern LCD LED TV's - until now! The picture presented by the 65" OLED is the best I have ever seen and makes watching TV like a brand new experience. The IQ remote just adds more ease of use and pleasure to the whole experience. As a result, I went out a purchased an LG HDR BluRay Disc player, and that takes it to an even higher level of enjoyment.

Beautiful in HDR and Dolby Vision
I just bought the LG C8 55" TV and I am still shocked at how good this TV is, even in a brighter room. This is definitely the best TV I have ever had, compared to a 2016 LG SUHD 8500...and a Toshiba 4k TV from 2013. It is incredible how thin the top half of the display is.

    The Reviews Weren't Wrong
We have been waiting and reading the reviews before we decided to buy. The reviews were right on. Thanks to the people that like to write reviews. The LG OLED 55” was very easy to set up. The picture is fantastic. One of the reviews said to get the A-9 processor, and before I mentioned it to the store salesman, he said the same thing. We played Avatar on our Blue Ray disc player. The colors will blow your mind. You can’t go wrong with this top of the line LG TV.

    Beautiful Picture - Blown Away
I've had this TV for 6 weeks now and I can unequivocally state that this 65" LG TV (OLED65E8PUA) is by far the best TV I have ever owned. The blacks are the deepest and truest I have ever experienced, definitely no evidence of washed out colors, as each color is vibrant and sharp. This TV presents an excellent picture at all but the most extreme viewing angles. The design of the TV presents well and the appointed features included are a nice addition. The only ding I can think of is the ... read more placement of the HDMI ports being towards the extreme left side of the unit, which is fine if all your other equipment being connected to the TV is to the left or directly below.

Best TV experience I've ever had.
I bought this TV in a kinda spur of the moment way, but I'm very glad I did. It was single-handedly ruined all other TV's, and monitors for me. The picture quality is stunning overall, with the deep blacks really elevating it above other non OLED sets. Any decent content, from games to movies, to TV shows, SDR or HDR, looks simply incredible on this TV. Like nothing any other type of screen can provide. I think I'll be sticking with OLED or derivative technologies in the future for my TV ... read more and monitors. I'm a fan.

I am a true (LG) believer
I have had a week now with my new lg oled tv and I could never go back to led. The vivid picture and black as black can be color is amazing. I have my cable box running through my Xbox one with Dolby atmos turned on and the sound that comes out of the tv speakers is better than the sound bar I bought a couple of years ago. I would recommend this tv to anyone who is looking for a new oled but doesn’t want to break the bank.

    The Best Gets Even Better!
So far, I am completely blown away by this TV. I thought my 2016 LG OLED TV was good...and it was. But they have really taken it to a new level with the improvements over the last 3 years. The overall picture quality of OLED can not be beat - that's long been the consensus amongst us audio/video-philes. But the fact that they were able to take the best and make it even better...well, it's nothing short of amazing. The truest blacks you will ever see on a TV, now with even brighter brights and ... read more better HDR. It's a truly breathtaking visual experience and let's face it - when you buy a TV the #1 most important thing is the picture quality. Not only is the OLED screen itself a site to behold, but LG has included all the settings you could possibly need to fine tune it exactly to your taste. The first thing I would suggest is turning off TruMotion - this is what causes the "soap opera effect" that makes movies and TV shows look like they were filmed using cheap home video cameras. Although for some crazy reason every TV manufacturer ships TV's with this type of feature enabled by default so I think a lot of people just thing it's the way modern TV's are supposed to look. It's not! Turn it off! The other settings can be set to your taste and there are plenty of places online to get expert suggestions on those as well. But suffice it to say, this TV has every setting you could possibly want to get the best picture on the best tv in the world! But LG didn't stop at that. The "Smart" aspect of this TV has me as a gadget geek just absolutely giddy! This is also a huge improvement over my 2016 model. The remote is much improved and sets nicely in your hand and works as easy as a mouse with a computer. And when you press the mic button, magic happens - you can search for a show or movie and LG will display everywhere it's available that you have connected to - Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu - as well as all the places you can buy or rent it - Fandango, Google PLay, Vudu. No more switching from app to app trying to find it - LG does it for you! But that is just the beginning - this TV also has the Google Assistant built in. Check the weather - or your calendar - or turn off your smart lights all from your TV remote. And the way it displays responses is brilliant - it doesn't take over your whole screen. You can still have your show or game going - it just shows on the bottom or the side. It's awesome. Needless to say I am BLOWN away by this amazing OLED TV!

    Huge upgrade from my LCD!
This is the first tv that I have bought since 2011. I bought Samsung's flagship LCD in 2011 and that was a great TV but has now really become dated in 2019. I debated for a long time on whether to go OLED or QLED for my new tv and finally decided on OLED because I think it is a technology that will age better. So I hooked up my C9 and it is a huge upgrade. The picture is the best I have ever seen. Content in 4K and HDR are mind blowing. I primarily use this for watching sports and gaming ... read more (PS4 Pro) and I have been extremely happy with the performance so far. I also think the smart TV interface is really easy to use and very responsive too. I like that they integrated Netflix and Amazon video directly into the remote as well. Not a game changer in my opinion but it is convenient and something that I don't take for granted. My only one complaint is that I do not think the sound is great on the TV. I have messed around with several settings and I seem to have a little trouble getting the balance right where voices are loud enough and then other sound (music, sound effects, etc.) is not too loud. I have also noticed that occasionally the sound seems to be a bit tinny. The sound performance is the only thing that prevents me from giving this 5 Stars. Picture is amazing and I think eventually I will just buy an external sound system to use with this TV.

We have the Lg oled 65 in c9 and it's the best decision we have ever made. The picture quality is amazing completely clear and makes you feel like you are actually watching it live in person right in the comfort of your own home. It is a pain to hang but thats just because its so fragile so was worried about breaking it. We are completely in love with our new tv and we could never go back to a plain lcd again. The remote is a little of a pain because we keep having to rehook up our bluray ... read more because its threw a surround system but im sure we will figure it out.

    Holy perfect picture!
This tv is the most amazing performer I have seen. The contrast is breathtaking and the blacks out of this world! With the “gallery” feature, putting it above a fireplace is a no-brainer; my wife loves the idea of having art up there rather than a black square when we’re not watching!

All it lacks is 3D, then you have the ultimate TV!
This is by far the best television LG has ever designed. But too bad it doesn’t have 3-D capability, if it did I would go buy one for Christmas. I’m sure a lot of 3-D fans out there would agree with me. I guess I’ll just hold on to my OLED 65E6P until LG gets smart and reintroduces 3D. One of the dumbest decisions ever coming out of CES. Oh well, their loss. Other than the 3D issue, best TV there is hands down.

    Amazing Display
I did not want a new tv. I did not think we needed a new TV. My husband wanted a new tv... we got the tv. It is an amazing tv, and I'm glad we got it. We previously had a Sony Bravia 4k UHD 3D tv, which was fine. We never used the 3d features. Our home we purchased just last year has a very awkward spot for a tv- it's angled. It was difficult to see the screen from all spots on the couch with the old tv... no problem with this one! The picture is so clear. I recommend to turn off Eco, unless you ... read more only watch very bright programming.

    Great Replacement for Plasma TV
I was reluctant to get rid of my old Panasonic Plasma TV because I was concerned whether or not the new OLED technology would be better. I was pleased to find that the LG OLED TV was indeed better than my old Panasonic plasma TV. I found the brightness, color, resolution, and black level all to be better. The added smart TV features were icing on the cake. I love the Magic Remote with its mouse-like feature which makes App setup and menu selection a breeze. I would recommend that anyone ... read more with a plasma TV make the switch to LG OLED technology. You won't be disappointed.

I really am enjoying my new TV
Listen, I purchased my 42" LG TV 13 years ago and it still works great. I splurged then with 1080DPI and 120 MZ and the picture is great. Last year I treated myself to a large tv stand with the fireplace and the maximum it would hold is a 55" TV. I will not buy anything but LG. They are the best product out there. I was able to hook up everything myself including the internet. I watch a lot of U-Tube. I know what you are thinking but I love Dale Earnhardt and watch a lot of that time period ... read more NASCAR. I am 71 and felt that since this was my only entertainment, I would splurge. I purchased the 55" OLED 4K and it is soooo worth the money. Do not buy a second rate TV. Not worth it. I feel that this is a great TV.

    Spectacular Picture Quality
I own a 55" LG OLED and the picture is amazing. I was going to buy a 65 " LG OLED but after seeing the 77" model, I will be purchasing the 77" model instead. The price came down to a price point I can now afford. I may have to wait a 2 years to purchase an 88" model.

The Most Vivid Pictures are on OLED
Bought the previous generation 77 OLED and am very happy with the picture quality. Everything just pops especially when I connect my PC directly to the TV and use it as a monitor. Both games and videos look pristine and beautiful.

    No 3D! Come on LG!
I love my oled 3D 4k TV. I want to upgrade but I'd miss seeing avatar in 3D! And all the other movies. Please please bring 3D back. It shouldn't cost much... probably just a software update?...

    The contrast is amazing.
Got the right size screen for the room and so glad I did. It is perfect. Big enough to draw me into the story but not hard to watch the whole screen. It did cost a little more, being an OLED, than the same size in other brands, but the quality is worth it. This is the first LG product I've purchased and will certainly consider this brand again.

    Outstanding Picture! Best resolution ever.
Got this at Costco last month after our 4.5 year old Samsung curve 4k UHD TV quit working right (sniff). I wanted bigger than our old 55". Tried a 65" TCL Roku TV. It was bigger but the picture was kind of washed out, not as good as the old Samsung. Then we saw this OLED picture at Costco it was clearly the best picture and came with built in HD sound too. Glad we got it even decided to get the Square Trade 5 year warranty even though I usually pass on those. Since it cost 4 digits I want ... read more to make sure we get at least 5 years out of it. My wishes: Why doesn't the remote have a rewind and fast forward button built in? Also, the Google assistant that keeps popping up is a pain.

I bought this LG 65” OLED C8 model the day before the Super Bowl. Setup was super easy right out of the box. Like others have stated in other reviews, the first thing to do when setting up the TV is to turn off the power saver mode which is the default mode. It makes a huge difference so if you don’t do this, you will be disappointed in the picture quality and leave a less than desirable review. The picture: AMAZING! Watch a 4K show and be amazed! Even non 4K HD is excellent. I compared the ... read more Samsung QLED (have 2 Samsung tv’s now) and not even close to the LG OLED. You will spend considerably more money on an OLED panel over a LCD panel but it is worth every penny if it fits in your budget. I highly recommend this TV to everyone.
