LG Feature phone - Basic phone Security Lock

NOTE: Some Settings, Menus, or Icons may differ from that of your device, this article should only be used as a general reference.

To access the security menu:

From the standby screen, press the Left Soft Key (Menu) > Settings > Phone Settings > Security

• Phone Lock

  You can use a security code to avoid unauthorized use of the phone.

  • When Power ON: The phone will request a security code whenever you switch the phone on.

  • When Sim Changed: Your phone will request a security code only when you change your SIM Card.

  • Lock Phone Now: Your phone will lock immediately.

  • Off: The phone will not require you to enter a code.

• Pin request

  When the PIN Request feature is turned on, you must enter your PIN each time you switch the phone on. Consequently, any person who does not have your PIN cannot use your phone without your approval.

  Note: Before setting the PIN Request feature off, you must enter your PIN

  If you have never changed the pin by default the code is 0000.

• Fixed Dial Number

  This feature allows you to restrict your outgoing calls to selected phone numbers, if supported by your SIM Card.

• Change Codes

  The Change Codes feature allows you to change your current password to a new one. You must enter the current password before you can specify a new one. You can change the access codes for: Security Code, PIN Code.
