Soak and Prewash availability will vary depending on your LG washer model.
This option adds a pre-wash (for about 15 - 17 minutes) for improved cleaning of heavily soiled or stained clothing.
1 Put laundry in the washer and close the door.
2 Place detergent, fabric softener, and other additives into the respective areas of the washer.
3 Press the [POWER] button to turn on the washer.
4 Turn the Cycle Selector knob to the desired cycle.
5 Locate the Prewash option on your control panel and activate it.
6 Once activated, press the [START/PAUSE] button to begin the cycle.
Once the prewash is complete, the wash cycle will begin using the same water from the prewash.

This option provides a 30 minute presoak prior to the start of the selected cycle.
