When hot water is in the tub of your LG SideKick™ washer the drawer cannot be opened and the word "Hot" is displayed on the panel. This is a safety feature that occurs when you pause or turn off the power during a high-temperature washing cycle such as Boil Wash.
Try this
When you pause or turn off the power while using the Boil Wash cycle or another cycle using high temperatures, the door won’t open until the water temperature drops below 40℃.
If you wish to open the door, proceed with the Rinse+Spin cycle or press the Start/Pause button twice after a reasonable amount of time has elapsed.
