LG G PAD 7.0 V400 QPAIR

By connecting your tablet and mobile phone via QPair, you can sync incoming calls, messages, and social networking notifications between your tablet and mobile phone.

Note: QPair may not be pre-installed on your phone. Go to the Google Play Store and search for QPair and install it.

Setup QPair
  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair

  2. Tap Get started > tap OK after reading the notification > tap Start on your tablet first, and then run the same steps on your phone to pair the devices. Bluetooth connection will be turned on automatically.

  3. Once a tablet is found, it will be connected automatically. When two or more tablets are found, select the tablet name below.

  4. Tap Pair on both devices to continue.

  5. Slide through the QPair guide for additional information.

Note: QPair works with phones running Android 4.1 or later. Some features may be limited depending on your phone model.

Since QPair uses the Bluetooth function, it may not work normally if you change the Bluetooth settings while QPair is in use.

QPair Features

Call notifications

Sends the tablet a notification when the phone receives a call. The notification displays the caller's number and allows you to answer and decline the call. You can also change call settings, such as a ringtone, ringtone volume, ringtone with vibration, or send a decline message when you get a call.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair > tap Call notifications.

  2. Tap the switch to enable.

  3. Call notifications from your phone will appear on the tablet. You can check caller ID to Answer the call, Decline with a message, Decline the call, or Close the notification.

  4. You can also customize your Ringtone, Ringtone volume, Ringtone with vibration and Decline with message settings.

Note: You can only receive a call supported by Bluetooth technology. Dialing a call from the tablet using the QPair feature is not possible.

Message notifications

Sends the tablet a notification when the phone receives a message. You can also change message settings, such as message pop-up, message preview, notification sound, and notification vibration.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair > tap Message notifications.

  2. Tap the switch to enable.

  3. A message notification will display when a new message is received on your QPaired phone. The notification will display the sender's number, message body and received time. If you have the contact's number stored as a contact in your phone, the G Pad will display the contact's name. A notification will also display in the Notification panel.

  4. Tap Tap to reply box to compose a message, then tap Send to reply. The maximum number of characters that can be entered varies.

  5. After a reply is sent, the notification will disappear.

Social network notifications

Sends the tablet a notification when the phone receives a message. You can also change message settings, such as message pop-up, message preview, notification sound, and notification vibration.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair > tap Social network notifications.

  2. Tap the switch to enable.

Note: To enable this feature, turn the QPair social network notifications option on your phone From the Home screen, tap Settings > Accessibility > QPair social network notifications. This option allows you to be notified of social networking notifications on your tablet.

QuickMemo+ transfer

Saves your current QuickMemo+ in the tablet's Gallery, and then syncs the tablet's Gallery with the Gallery on your phone.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair > tap QuickMemo+ transfer.

  2. Tap the switch to enable.

  3. Create a QuickMemo with your G Pad and save it in your G Pad Gallery. The saved QuickMemo will also be saved to your phone's Gallery.

  4. Create a QuickMemo with your phone and save it in your phone's Gallery. The saved QuickMemo will also be saved to your G Pad's Gallery.

Note: QuickMemo can be shared between your tablet and mobile phone only when they are connected via QPair.

If QPair is disconnected while QuickMemo is being sent, the transfer is resumed upon reconnection of QPair.

Recent sticker app

When the paired device's screen is unlocked, a sticker will display the last app used on the other device if the app is installed both on the tablet and the phone.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair > tap Recent sticker app.

  2. Tap the switch to enable.

  3. Using your phone, launch an app that is also installed on your G Pad (Gallery, Alarm, etc).

  4. Turn off your G Pad with Power/Lock key or Knock On, then turn your G Pad on with Power/Lock key or Knock On.

  5. Recent app sticker will display on the bottom right side of the screen.

Tips & Tricks

Here are tips and tricks when answering an incoming call from your tablet.

  1. There is no receiver on your tablet, so it will be on “speaker” mode by default when you answer a call.

  2. If a call is not answered, both your tablet and phone will have a Missed call icon on the status bar.

  3. If your tablet is locked, you must unlock it to answer an incoming call.

  4. If you answer a call with your phone, the incoming call notification window form the tablet will disappear and you will not be able to use your tablet to talk.

  5. You are unable to make calls from your tablet. You can only answer calls from your tablet.

  6. You can answer a second incoming call from your tablet, only if you are on a call using the tablet. If you are on a call using your phone, the incoming call notification window will not display on your tablet.

  7. If you answer a second incoming call, you are unable to swap between calls when using the tablet.

  8. You are unable to answer calls when your tablet is connected to a Bluetooth headset. There is no Answer button on the incoming call notification window.
