  • *Features may vary be model.

  • Please refer to your owner’s manual for specific information.

  • Your grease filters located underneath your LG over-the-range microwave catch grease papers and particles while you are cooking.

  • For best performance the grease filter should be removed and cleaned at least once a month.

  • Do not let grease accumulate on the filters.

  • Begin by disconnecting power or unplugging your microwave.

  • Next locate the grease filters.

  • To remove the rear grease filters grasp the ring located on the bottom of the filter.

  • Slide the filter to the back and pull it downward.

  • The 2 grease filters located on the extendable hood require you to unscrew and remove the cover before you can access the grease filters.

  • Please note that the grease filters are not dishwasher safe.

  • Soak them in hot water and a mild detergent.

  • Scrub and swish to remove embedded dirt and grease.

  • Do not clean the filters with ammonia or corrosive cleaning agents such as lye based oven cleaners.

  • Rinse well and dry completely before reinstalling.

  • To reinstall the grease filter slide the rear of the filter into the frame.

  • Push the filter upward and pull forward to lock into place.

  • For the grease filters located on the hood slide the filters back into place and reattach the cover.

  • Do not operate the hood without the filter in place.
