Rated 1 out of 5 by from Netflix I bought this TV and every time I access Netflix I have to sign-in again. I've talked to Netflix and they tell me it's LG. I've talked to LG and they tell me Netflix is not supported by this TV which means I'll have to continue signing in every time I access Netflix. However, the specifications say that Netflix has "Instant Access." WOW! Talk about a waste of TIME!! No wonder it's been discontinued.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV Greatest flat screen I have ever owned. Most cannot connect to the internet, but this one does and it is always smart. It has a multitude of apps (such as WWE Network, Amazon and Netflix) as compared to most other models. I am however surprised and sad that this tv is no longer offered or available. I have only had to replace the power board in the last 3.5 years that I have owned it. Otherwise a great purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this TV I have had my TV for 3 years. I have not had any problems with it. I love the fact I can turn anything I watch into a 3D event. The only thing I question is the sound. It does not blast. At about 25 it does not get louder. Not sure if that is normal or not. it also does not connect to just any wireless. it has to be an LG wireless. I am looking for a speaker now that I can use across the room. Any suggestions? I would like it to be wireless. I used to watch 3D films on the set that were part of the programs, but those disappeared recently with an upgrade.

Unfortunately the back lights started failing in Feb causing the picture to go dark with sound still working. Not sure whether this is a weakness of this model or just bad luck after just over 2 years of good operation. I miss my TV! It was a 55LA6230-TB

Would the US version of this TV work in Switzerland ?

The U.S. version of the LG 42” Class Cinema 3D 1080P 120HZ LED TV with Smart TV (41.9” diagonal), Model # 42LA6200 has three built-n tuners that are designed for compatibility with Television Broadcast Standards used in the U.S., an ATSC tuner, an NTSC tuner and a QAM tuner. Regrettably, none of these are compatible with the Television Broadcast Standards used in Switzerland...^IFV

Hi Maloney3. As indicated in its title description, the LG 42” Class Cinema 3D 1080P 120HZ LED TV with Smart TV (41.9” diagonal), Model # 42LA6200 is a 1080p TV and is not capable of..^IFV 4K (2160p).

In the specifications for the LG 42” Class Cinema 3D 1080P 120HZ LED TV with Smart TV (41.9” diagonal), Model # 42LA6200 on its product information page at http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-42LA6200-led-tv, this TV is listed as having a DTS decoder. DTS is also referred to as DTS Digital Surround or DTS Core) which is one of two (along with Dolby Digital 5.1) that got their start with the Laserdisc format, with both formats migrating to DVD upon that format's introduction. DTS Digital Surround is a 5.1 channel encoding and decoding system that, on the listening end, requires a compatible home theater receiver with 5 channels of amplification and 5 speakers (left, right, center, surround left, surround right) and a subwoofer (.1), similar to the requirements needed for Dolby Digital...^IFV
