Rated 4 out of 5 by from great TV Happy with everything except the speakers. Does not carry enough volume at times and there is no way to add speakers or sound bar that I can determine. It is not a smart TV. Great picture however.

Do I need to remove the white plug on optical cable output?

Hello, there should not be a plug/cap, however, there is a flap that covers the hole and when you insert the cable it will simply push in. ^AC

Trying to connect headphones to the TV is it better to use USB headphones wireless headphones or?

Asked by: ShostPam
We appreciate your interest in this television. The only way to connect an external audio device to the TV would be by using an optical cable. You would be unable to connect wireless headphones or USB headphones and get sound from the TV.

Want to use as menu board. Burn-in protection prevents this by turning tv off. We need the tv on for 12+ hours. Don't care about burn-in.

Asked by: Store9305
We appreciate your interest in this television. Unfortunately the screen dimming or shutting off is a safety feature built in to the TV that is unable to be deactivated since this is defaulted by the factory in manufacturing.
