What people are saying
Rated 2 out of 5 by from WiFi problems TV worked great for about 10 Months then it just stopped connecting to the internet. “WiFi is turned off” would appear in the settings but there literally isn’t anything to click to “turn it back on” Smart TV isn’t so smart when it can’t connect to the internet... that the literal only thing it does. Either way if the internet problems never occurred this would be a great tv!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wifi feature stops working after warranty I bought a smart TV for my workout room so I can watch YouTube training videos. 2 months after the expiration of the warranty the Wifi connection from the TV stopped working. Looking at online reviews it seems this is a common issue with LG smart TV's. I called in the customer service group and we went through all of the scenarios like reboot, unplug, disable this and that - and in the end she said the TV had to be replaced. Since the warranty had expired I had to pay for the repair. again, from the online reviews it seems that this problem pops up shortly after the warranty expires. CS asked me to send in copies of my receipt to see if LG would do anything about this and I did. Now it has been 4 months and not a word. My LG webpage says its processing. Terrible. Just say you took my money and I should buy a new one.

tv being used mostly for video games in a darkened room. The picture is very dark even with the screen selection of “vivid” and brightness max’d Out. any suggestions?

Asked by: Jet49
Hello, please go to: HOME > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode Settings > Picture Options. There you can adjust LED Local Dimming and Black Level. LED Local Dimming: Maximizes the contrast ratio by making the bright areas of the screen brighter and the dark areas of the screen darker. Black Level: Compensates the screen brightness and contrast by adjusting the darkness of the screen.
