Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality My daughter bought me this for Christmas. TV won't recognize the port where my Blu-Ray is plugged in so I can't use my blu-ray and certain shows have closed caption across the bottom even though it is turned off. Very frustrating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Started having trouble with it 8 months after I bo For the first eight months it was a wonderful TV then it decided to start shutting itself off sure. I went through all of the steps LG told me to take when I called them for help. Then they authorized a repair visit. After replacing the module it kept doing the same thing. I asked for another visit for repair. The repair guy called and said he thought it was probably my DVR cable box. He suggested I replace it so I did. At first I thought he was right because it was not turning itself off. But a few weeks later it began to do it again. Now I'm out of my warranty. I sent an email to the president of LG. I didn't hear anything for a while and then all of a sudden I got a text message from them. I had to go through them trying to tell me what steps to take again and I explained to them I had already done all those steps a couple of times. It didn't work I told them. They said they had sent a second visit request but that I had declined it. I explained to them I never declined it I did what the repairman told me to do over the phone and for a little while it seemed to work. But then it started doing the same thing again. It's not my cable box it's not my internet, unplugging and plugging things back in or resetting things doesn't work. They authorized a one-time courtesy repair visit. That happens tomorrow and basically they are going to replace all the modules in the TV so it would be like a brand new TV. We'll see what happens... (by the way) LG has been responsive to my issue. I'm hoping this repair visit will fix it once and for all.
