Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great but Disposable and Short Lived TV I loved this TV! Great picture and lots of features. Unfortunately, it didn't last. One day I no longer got sound or picture. According to the authorized repair person, the main board has to be replaced, which equates to the price of just getting a new tv. What a waste. A great TV being tossed. Not sure if I'll get another LG tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT TV, also good repair project! I got mine from a friend who was tossing it out as junk. Seems like power supply board has issued running. I saved the TV and I am glad to have. I will be replacing the part and believe that it will work fine since it flashes LG logo when it originally turned on. I don't recommend junking yours if it fails, there are a lot useful parts in there and it isn't too hard to fix if you know what your doing. I also like the design of the TV as well as its convenient weight. If yours dies, sell it for parts or give it to a friend who takes them apart.

Customer service wasn't a whole lot of help. Needless to say I believe I won't be getting another LG. TV.

Is there a way to make the LG Plus iPhone app turn on the tv?

Hello, since the TV is being operated via Wi-Fi and not an IR Blaster, the TV can not be turned on since the phone can not obtain connection prior to the TV being turned on. ^AC

Turns on but no picture seems to be recognized issue with this model. After troubleshooting still a problem. Cost/benefit is this worth fixing? Simple common fix or is it time to buy another?

HOw can i transfer audio from tv to speaker. Tv does not have audio out other than optical.

Since the TV only has Optical out, you may have to run the audio from the primary source, set top box, to your surround sound. ^AC

It is recommended to unplug the TV for about 45 seconds to see if the system is reset. If the problem persists, then the unit will require service.
