What people are saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Truly overwhelmed LG asking me for a Review !!! Truly overwhelmed by your invitation to provide feedback! Why? because I have been ranting and raving for the last two weeks with LG support. Spent $2100 less than two years ago. Then screen goes black. 95$ for 2 minutes to hear screen replacement will cost $2000 plus $450 labor. Refusing to accept the loss, called in another expert who tried swapping motherboard, tcon before confirming original evaluation. Both asked me to appeal to LG despite Warranty expiry based on their experience with LG. As a person who seldom watches TV and never had more than 32 inches regret splurging $2100 for watching the news for an hour before bedtime for a few months (mention this since your support person insinuated the cause of premature demise may be over-use). If not a replacement, was at least expecting a voucher of some sort. Hence extremely disappointed. Truly overwhelmed by your invitation to provide feedback! Rated 1 out of 5 by from Screen burnt out, smart functions stopped working Brighter than the normal LG's. Smart functions where nice till they stopped working 4 months out. Screen actually got a short circuit luckily it was so close to the 12 months warranty. The tv was wall mounted never touched or moved, i did notice it would get hotter than a PLASMA TV!!!!!! Seams they make them last just to the warranty mark and ur on ur own. Really loved the picture mode, looked nice looked like real art canvas with frame.

I have a 75lg8570 television. My son let his game remote slip and it struck the screen it now has lines up and down and side to side.  There is no visible damage and I was wondering if there was anything I could do for it.

Asked by: Jett5
Based on the issues you are describing, it sounds like you may need a technician to check it out. This may be done through our website: http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair-service/schedule-repair-us or for a list of service centers in your area: https://www.lg.com/us/support/repair-service/find-repair-provider ^CP

Does the HDMI ARC pass through send Dolby Atmos info to the SK9 soundbar system?  I have all my HDMI sources plugged into the TV and then the HMDI ARC plugged into the sound bar as well as the optical cable...  which is better for sending the signal?

Asked by: Buddyc
Dolby Atmos only works via HDMI. If the TV receives the Dolby Atmos signal, it will pass it to the sound bar. ^AC
