Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clearer than in real life We are totally amazed at the picture quality. We are still learning some of the short cuts the unit has to offer. I am a little disappointed in the remote control having to go online to get more info, but in time I'll figure it out. Overall +10

Is this TV 3d enabled?

Asked by: 3DJunkie
LG was one of the last two companies to stop manufacturing 3D TVs in 2016. No manufacturer offered any 3D TVs after 2016. The LG Electronics OLED77C8PUA 77-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart OLED TV (2018 Model) does not support 3D. You can still find some 2016 OLED TVs and 2016 Super 4K UHD TVs on our site, http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/all-tvs that were the last TVs that we manufactured that supported 3D, but you won't find 3D supported on 2017 and 2018 TVs. ^CP

What is different from OLED65CPUA? If same spec,, why is the price different?

Asked by: chrisorange
The LG C8AUA 4K HDR Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 65" Class (64.5" Diag), Model # OLED65C8AUA and Model # OLED65C8PUA are the same. They have the same specifications and features and they only differ in where they are sold, hence the difference in pricing. Retailers do not always set the same pricing for products. The TVs are subject to a Unilateral Policy (or "Colgate Policy" or "Unilateral Minimum Retail Price Policy") under which a manufacturer, without any agreement with the reseller, announces a minimum resale price and refuses to make further sales to any reseller that sells below the announced price. However, a dealer is free to set the retail price of the products it sells. A dealer can set the price at the MSRP or at a different price, as long as the dealer comes to that decision on its own. However, the manufacturer can decide not to use distributors that do not adhere to its MSRP...^IFV

I want a new OLED 55c8aua for gaming but will the new 2018s get burn in the screan from static images? this is major concern of mine, being that your TVs cost an arm and a leg. seems like all other oleds suffer from this.

Asked by: Tagnastick
Image retention/Burn In will result from static images being left for long periods of time on the LG C8AUA 4K HDR Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # OLED55C8AUA. Burn-in and image retention are possible on virtually any display. However, with an LG OLED TV, any risk of burn-in or image retention have been addressed through the use of technology that not only helps protect against damage to the screen but features self-healing properties so that any short-term image retention that may occur is quickly rectified. It is rare for an average TV consumer to create an environment that could result in burn-in. Most cases of burn-in in televisions is a result of static images or on-screen elements displaying on the screen uninterrupted for many hours or days at a time – with brightness typically at peak levels. So it is possible to create burn-in in almost any display if one really tries hard enough. And even if burn-in does occur from extreme usage, it can usually be mitigated within a short period of time by turning the display off for a while, and watching a few hours of varying content (such as your standard TV watching and channel-surfing). Additionally, LG OLED TVs come with special features and settings to preserve image quality and prevent burn-in and image retention. First, there is a screen saver feature that will turn on automatically if the TV detects that a static image is displayed on the screen after approximately two minutes. There are also two options – available in the Picture Mode Settings within the Smart Picture menu – that can be used to preserve image quality. The first of these is the Pixel Refresher feature that preserves the quality of the image on the display panel by resetting the TV so that it clears the pixels. This feature can be turned on when needed within the settings mentioned above. The second feature which is automatically employed is the Screen Shift feature which moves the screen slightly at regular intervals to preserve image quality...^IFV
