LG LX5450 handset with embedded camera awakens consumers' inner shutterbug

SANDIEGO (December 8, 2003) -- - LG Mobile Phones and nationwide wireless carrier ALLTEL announced today the availability of the LG LX5450 mobile phone. The LG LX5450 combines all the innovative, easy-to-use features that customers have come to expect from LG with the addition of an embedded camera for snapping photos and capturing special moments whenever they happen, wherever they are. The LX5450 is the first LG handset for ALLTEL, a leading communications provider offering wireless, long distance and Internet data services to more than 12 million customers in 26 states across the U.S.

The light and compact LG LX5450 weighs in at less than four ounces and comes in a sleek clamshell design with an external LCD screen for customizable caller ID. A built-in mirror for self-portraiture, a self-timer and the ability to adjust white and color tone enhances the integrated digital camera with quality VGA imaging. The 262K color LCD screen is the perfect canvas for a selection of colorful wallpapers and Power On/Power Off images, and 31 unique ring tones in polyphonic sound let users customize and personalize their settings.

The LG LX5450 also has all the most advanced handset options available today without sacrificing quality basic features. Standard features include a personal organizer with scheduler, alarm clock and voice memo recording, a phone book that can hold up to 499 entries with five numbers per contact, voice activated dialing and vibrate and silent alert options.
