Window Type Dual Inverter Compressor Aircon

I bought this unit 9 months ago in July 2023. It is very noisy, and the only quiet operation is during sleep mode which has the least amount of cooling. As comparison, my previous non-inverter AC from Kolin with same capacity operating at max is much quieter even at its 10th year now than this new LG AC on its sleep mode.

We bought 2 units of .08hp last October 30, 2021 during an SM Appliance Sale. It has been more than 2 years already, never had any problem with either units. Its fast cooling, energy saver, and having an app for this, is awesome. Oh, and remember to ff intsructions, and keep it well maintained. But honestly though, we havent had our units cleaned by a proffessional just yet, since we had it installed. Its adviced to have it it cleaned atleast once or twice a year. We just regulary clean filters, and the unit itself warns us when its time to wash the filter.

Promise, we will have it cleaned already before 2023 ends.

Here are my problems with this model:

-The model doesn't have econo mode, so when the unit reached the temp u set up, the compressor still working to cool the room which is dat doesn't have to be that way given that this is an inverter. Should be automatically switched to fan mode or something else.
-I don't think this will save us energy given the this model doesn't have automatic features. All options on the app and remote control sall be done manually. Unless it's a schedule off/on!
-Doesnt have fan swing

I regret buying this model. I really am.

My Dad has been using non-Inverter for ten years or older so I found this Dual Inverter i did not buy it yet but in the future he will buy it I Like the features of it Thank you LG for making it.

In the scorching heat of the Philippines, where extreme temperatures have made air conditioning almost a necessity, this item truly shines. I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance. It quickly cools down my 9-square-meter room, perfectly matching its aircon capacity. Operating at an average of 2.4 kWh per day over 24 hours, it proves to be energy-efficient. I prefer to set it to low fan mode at 26 degrees Celsius. For nighttime, I adjust the energy control to 40%, and during hot days or when accommodating three people, I set it at 80%. Even at its lowest fan setting, it emits a manageable 42dB, as measured by a sound meter app. During a 12-hour operation from 6 am to 6 pm, it consumes 1.6 kW per day. Its effectiveness is greatly appreciated, providing a comfortable oasis amidst the relentless heatwaves.
I hardly use the remote control anymore; I mostly rely on the app. It allows me to monitor the real-time kilowatt usage, which is incredibly helpful. I also appreciate its compact size, which fits my requirements perfectly. Unlike others that come in box-type shapes, its rectangular design works well for me as it fits perfectly above my blinds. Overall this is a good buy!

Bought about 6 months ago now. No problems. It's working fine. Save me over 3.5k PHP over the old ac I used. Cools small 2room house. Bedroom is really really cold. Other rooms are cool to comfortable. That's in an extremely hot city with no shade trees near the house. Done as guest ID because it's a hassle to create or even use Google.

This AC unit was a pain to maintain. I have to have it serviced every 3 months because of that blasted CH 05 error! While it significantly cut down half of my monthly electric bill, the repair, parts replacement, hassle and stress I endured were not worth it! The total cost of all these repairs and parts replacements amounts to the same as purchasing a brand new one.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL or in this case, from this brand.

Did you not have this tested first before launching it in the market??? This should not have passed quality control.

LG should refund all of us who bought this cursed thing because it is legit a SCAM! Stop selling a malfunctioning, worthless product!

P.S. The Writing Guidelines for a review are an indication of how much LG is perceived as a poor brand.

I bought this last night and got installed early morning. After 20 mins of working suddenly it showes ch45 error. LG technicians got here on the same day and confirmed that it is an issue with the sensor. We are waiting for unit replacement under 33 degrees heat with a newborn baby. Imagine how stressful that is for a baby.

If my child gets sick due to this heat, I will definitely put blame on LG.

This may serve as a warning for anyone who plans to buy this unit. DO NOT BUY THIS! I cant post this review with 0 stars so giving it a one for the sake of posting.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and obviously its energy saver coz i keep checking it on my phone. When the air smell so bad I didn't worry cos i used the auto clean function and its working. Very fast cooling and quiet...

We bought 4 items for this dual inverter window type June 2022, all four of us using at least hours daily, we also have TVs and other appliances, but we only pay 5600 to 6200 on average of 10 months. Its really economical! Highly recommended. Give it 5 stars!!
