What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Voice Only The quality has been fantastic. I was afraid it might be like using my cell phone in the house. It has been as great quality as a land line for me, at half the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low cost Voice quality is excellent. It does not sound like a cell phone. Local and long distance calls sound as good as a land line phone

Is there a signal booster?

Asked by: Willie Boy
This product is only a wireless home phone that works off an AT&T sim card. It does not include in built in signal booster. AT&T does offer a signal booster, please visit www.att.com/microcell, they can purchased at any AT&T corporate store and the web site (under FAQ's) has a $75.00 rebate form you can submit after purchase. Hi, I just got this for my home phone yesterday, I do not see where my caller ID is working. Is it because I'm in the trial period & after I have it switched to my regular phone it will work?

Asked by: Claire2015

I am seriously considering this as an alternative to my landline. I don't see anything in the FAQs how I can use it with my existing phone handsets - 2 cordless 1 corded. The 3 phones are across two levels in my house. How can this be configured?

Asked by: TomO
Plug the base (usually also the answering machine) into the ATT device separating the two by a few feet if possible placing the ATT device close to a window. I recommend somewhere on the upper floor for coverage. Expand your wireless system to a few more phones, we use one with 5 wireless. Place a few wireless on both levels. We've been running this way for 2yrs. To connect the wired and wireless as you describe you would have to plug the device into the house wiring which will create issues if not disconnected from the wired ATT on the outside of the house. Not recommended.

international calling

Is there an international calling plan? if so, what is the added cost?
Asked by: joe
You can certainly dial internationally with the Wireless Home Phone! Doing so would be at the pay-per-use international long distance rate, or you can reduce this cost with AT&T World Connect! See here for more details and pricing - http://soc.att.com/1FOGmgg AT&TMobilityCare

Will the telephone number I port to home wireless service be listed in the local AT&T phone directory?

Asked by: Steve B
As the telephone number would become a cellular number, it would not be included in local directories, unless already present. ATTMobilityCare
