What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dead and Replaced The over the range LG microwave just up and died ... made a major noise when operating . To repair would have been just as expensive as to replace with a new one with more features ... and that's just what we did .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fine machine Probably more features than necessary, it's been hanging in there though for well over 6 years and three different renters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Matches my other kitchen appliances I LOVE my new Microwave with three exceptions... 1) Too Noisy 2) The depth is to long and it sticks out from the cabinet 2" further than my previous unit. 3) It does not have a timer for cooking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Microwave This is a great performing unit, we have had it now for a little over a month and couldn't be happier. Cooks evenly and does a great job with the defrost and softening options. These have been lacking in other micro oven i have used. 2 things i would like to have seen is the range light button would have been highlight somehow or in a different location as it gets lost in the other buttons. The other was when we had it installed, no fault of LG, was the top face of the door was easy to scratch as the installers did. They were able to replace realizing what had happened and were more careful on the replacement. But we love it now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sleek looking and great quality I like my new microvawe very much. It looks great, my husband installed it, it does get a little louder than what I would like but still great product. I like how you don't see any vents on the front of it like my old one where you could see all the dust in it and it' be imposible to clean it.

Changing interior light bulb

How do I get the bulb out? I've located it and managed to lift the bulb cover but I can't pull it far enough out to remove the bulb. Please help! If I pull hard enough is there enough wire to allow access? I'm afraid to pull too hard and break something.
Asked by: Angie6272
The changing of the oven light should be performed from above the light, rather than below it. Open the door and remove the two vent grille mounting screws. Slide the grille left and tip the cover forward, then lift it out to remove it. Lift the bulb holder from its placement. The unit can utilize either a 30 or 40 watt appliance bulb. This lamp should be able to be twisted out of its housing.

Stainless door cover catches on body

The stainless door cover is held snug by 4 stays. One stay has failed and allows the metal to bow and catch on the black edge of the body. It creates a loud snap on open and close. Can you suggest a way to affect a repair? I suspect I could infuse some supper glue but feel it would be necessary to remove the door to insure a firm glue seal. Can the door be removed and if so, how?
