What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful and reliable The range works well and as expected. As with every glass-top I've ever used, it can be slow to get hot and takes forever to cool off. The warming burner is handy as is the selectable size on one of the front burners. The oven is wonderful. It looks nice, cooks evenly, and self cleans acceptably. The only complaint I have is that by default convection temperature is lower than requested, but that just messes a lot of things up. The setting can be overridden, which I recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but panel goes bad fast Buy the warranty!! I read reviews prior to buying, most liked the range, as we do, but as previous reviews stated the electronic panel buttons are hard to push and the panel breaks. Exactly 1 year of use and the panel does not work, and yes, the buttons are hard to push. We now have to go almost 6 weeks without a stove/range waiting for the part. Just glad we bought the warranty!!!!! I suggest that if you buy this product get the longest warrant available and have a alternate cooking device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THIS RANGE! My favorite thing about this range is the oven. The oven temperature is very consistent which is so important when baking. It also is very large and I love the bright color of the inside, it still surprises me and makes me smile every time I open the door. The whole range is very sharp looking, especially the speckled cooktop which may help disguise any future scratches. I find the controls are very easy to use and the burners heat to desired level quickly. I also love the music that is used for the timer and for preheat completion.

What is the required clearance between the range and the wall ?

Asked by: Tory
We appreciate your interest in this range. When installing this product, it is important to install the ANTI-TIP BRACKETS directly to the wall and floor. Once in place, slide the range into place, and into these brackets. They will automatically place proper spacing between the range and the wall.

Is the electric burner clicking every 10 seconds normal when in use?

Also does the convection fan stop and start all the time while the oven is convection baking?
Asked by: Anonymous
The oven fan will run during convection cooking. The fan will stop when the door is open, but the heat will not turn off. In some cases, the fan may shut off during a convection cycle. It is not uncommon for the burners to click, but it would not seem that this should occur that frequently. What is the difference between the True Convection and the convection Fan?

I have the Model LRE3023SB
Asked by: jl44431
These two objects are not items to be compared. The Convection Fan is the device by which the True Convection mode is made possible. Convection is a cooking process accomplished by circulating heat throughout the oven cavity, to provide more even cooking. This is performed BY the Convection Fan.

Use of Pressure Cooker on smoothtop surface

Does LG recommend the use of a pressure cooker on a smoothtop cooking surface and is the glasstop rated to withstand the heat and/or weight. The range is a electric and the pressure cooker manufacturer indicates the pressure cooker is designed to be used on a smoothtop cooking surface.
Asked by: Stue
Page 20 of the owner’s manual has the following to say about Pressure Cookers / Canners. Be sure that the canner is centered over the surface unit and flat on the bottom. The base must not be more than 1” larger than the element. Use of water bath canners with rippled bottoms may extend the time required to bring the water to a boil and cooktops may be damaged. Some canners are designed with smaller bases for use on smooth top surfaces. Use the high heat setting only until the water comes to a boil or pressure is reached in the canner. Reduce to the lowest heat setting that maintains the boil or pressure. If the heat is not turned down, the cooktop may be damaged.

The picture of the LRE30323SB shows a bottom rack that dips. That is the reason I chose this range by LG but the range did not come with the rack.

Why does LG advertise this rack with the range and not include it? Very frustrating. Also I found that my range did not come wth a broiler pan either. I love LG and this is the second complete set of LG appliances I have bought in 4 years (new home) and I was disappointed that my new range did not come with a broiler pan either. The last one a couple years ago did.

We regret your dissatisfaction with the accessories of this range. The specifications sheet provided with this unit, as well as the included accessories section of the owner’s manual, both show that this unit only comes with 2 Standard Baking Racks.
