What People Are Saying

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 157 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy and beautiful Everything about this range was designed with the user in mind. It's sleek and modern and works like a charm. August 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 amazing range I love everything about this. Performance, features, price...I could go on and on. Easy to use, looks so sophisticated in my kitchen. Great all around. June 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 Excellent Product Have had this product for 4 months easy to use and clean. Excellent results. Glad we got it!! April 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this stove I like this stove. It is easy to use, easy to clean, looks great. It is fun to use when you set the temp, it sings to you when it reaches the baking temp. Also sings to you when your baking timer is completed. It's so nice to have a modern looking stove and a smooth easy to clean cook top is a plus. I also like that there are no nobs, just a smooth surface that you can wipe clean easily. February 7, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Convection oven has never worked! The repair man came and checked out the convection oven and had to order a control panel for it. He came on the 15th of January and has not called or been back. I am very disappointed that the convection oven didn't work, on a new stove and still doesn't. I tried to use the convection oven three different times and I had to change it to regular bake to get my stuff to cook. I like the other features, but not sure I would recommend this stove to any one else. My daughter had the same problem and her stove was replaced. It is a LRE3083ST01 January 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Features and Price I found this range to be as advertised. The oven is spacious and quick to preheat. The burners work great and I really like that there are no knobs.Easy to clean range top and since I have had several boil overs I know.If a wet towel doesn't take care of it,a razor blade does.I have had this range for 2 months. January 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful improvement over previous stove I find the space inside the oven is the best that I have ever had. I love how the oven not only lets know it is heated with sound. I like he flashing light notification. The ability to use the front for large skillets on the front fantastic. December 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A good value I've had it about a month, long enough to use all the features and both wet and dry cleaning. I could have paid much more, but I've not found any aspect where I thought "I wish it had..." The wet cleaning didn't go well, and it really is for very light cleaning. But, remembering to remove the racks first, the hot cleaning went very well. It looks great in the all-stainless kitchen, but I am most impressed with the performance. The heat is easy to control, but I had to get used to shorter cooking times as the cooktop heats very quickly and efficiently. This model was recommended by a leading consumer magazine. Why does LG advertise this rack with the range and not include it? Very frustrating. Also I found that my range did not come wth a broiler pan either. I love LG and this is the second complete set of LG appliances I have bought in 4 years (new home) and I was disappointed that my new range did not come with a broiler pan either. The last one a couple years ago did.

We regret your dissatisfaction with the accessories of this range. The specifications sheet provided with this unit, as well as the included accessories section of the owner’s manual, both show that this unit only comes with 2 Standard Baking Racks.

Use of Pressure Cooker on smoothtop surface

Does LG recommend the use of a pressure cooker on a smoothtop cooking surface and is the glasstop rated to withstand the heat and/or weight. The range is a electric and the pressure cooker manufacturer indicates the pressure cooker is designed to be used on a smoothtop cooking surface.

Answer:
Page 20 of the owner’s manual has the following to say about Pressure Cookers / Canners. Be sure that the canner is centered over the surface unit and flat on the bottom. The base must not be more than 1” larger than the element. Use of water bath canners with rippled bottoms may extend the time required to bring the water to a boil and cooktops may be damaged. Some canners are designed with smaller bases for use on smooth top surfaces. Use the high heat setting only until the water comes to a boil or pressure is reached in the canner. Reduce to the lowest heat setting that maintains the boil or pressure. If the heat is not turned down, the cooktop may be damaged.

Is the electric burner clicking every 10 seconds normal when in use?

Also does the convection fan stop and start all the time while the oven is convection baking?

Answer:
The oven fan will run during convection cooking. The fan will stop when the door is open, but the heat will not turn off. In some cases, the fan may shut off during a convection cycle. It is not uncommon for the burners to click, but it would not seem that this should occur that frequently. Answer:
These two objects are not items to be compared. The Convection Fan is the device by which the True Convection mode is made possible. Convection is a cooking process accomplished by circulating heat throughout the oven cavity, to provide more even cooking. This is performed BY the Convection Fan.
