Quite, and easy to fill
I purchased my LG dishwasher 2 years ago and have had no problems. It is so quite. The controls are easy to use. If you want just a normal wash you push two buttons and close the door. I especially like the tines that move for odd size pans. The 3rd row is also a great feature for tools - even BBQ tools.

Time does tell
We bought this product because the price was right and because it was supposed to be quieter than the other product we were considering. We purchased it in Nov. 2016, so I think I have enough experience to know the machine. From the get go the was a minor problem that we were able to correct which was the screen at the bottom showed signs of rust within 2 months of use. I contacted LG, they sent a replacement part and all was well. In 2018 as I was cleaning out the screen and filter I found a gray plastic piece on the bottom. My husband finally figured out it came off the rinse dispenser. It has fallen of twice more since then. Another time I found the vent cover in the bottom and I reinstalled it. It also has fallen off several times. These two items I never touched so I don't understand them coming off. I have also noticed rust on one of the racks. Recently we found a puddle under the machine...a big puddle. We saw no leaks but the vent cover had fallen off yet again. However this time I noticed what looked like moisture in the control panel. Other than these "minor issues" I found that using the rinse agent as we have hard water the machine did its job as promised. However with the moisture in the panel I feel like the dishwasher days are numbered. When it goes I will buy a different brand.

Poor performance -Don't buy LG!
We bought this a few years ago and it has never cleaned dishes well. The soap dispenser routinely fails to open or is only partially dispensed. We have tried different dishwashing soaps (no change), avoiding loading dishes in the bottom quarter of the dishwasher (helpful but it still fails regularly), and changing water temperature and wash cycle (no change). We somewhat improved the washing quality by removing the silverware rack completely. I've rated it a 1 for quality, features, and value because, although the features look great on paper, they don't work (ie top silverware rack, different wash cycles).
